Gorgeous 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with *Private HEATED Pool & Spa located 6th row from the ocean. The Friendly Flamingo is lovely home that has been completely renovated (2009) and redecorated. From all new furniture, new kitchen with all new appliance, new HVAC and central dehumidifier, cabinets and countertops to paint and completely renovated bathrooms. EVERYTHING is all brand new throughout.

The public beach access has been newly renovated to include shooting water spouts and an open air view of the beach. Swings and seating area line the beautiful stone walkway to the beach. North Forest Beach is in close proximity to Hilton Head's 'downtown', Coligny Plaza which means you have access to great shopping, restaurants and entertainment within walking distance.

Enjoyable week spent at this site. Super clean and wonderful renovations. The pool and hot tub were certainly enjoyed by my family. I highly recommend this home. Much thought and effort was put into the home to make sure both young and old were comfortable.

We loved the Friendly Flamingo. It was perfect for our family of five plus my niece. The bed configuration with bunks plus another bed in one room was great for the 4 kids. The house is not huge but it doesn't matter because the layout is comfortable and it has everything you need to cook and relax. The master bed is very comfortable. The pool and hot tub are lovely (be sure to request instructions on operating the hot tub - we had a little trouble with that). The location is wonderful, just down the block from the ocean -- a very short stroll. The house is also close to the bike path and shopping but in a quiet residential area. The only down side to our stay was that construction was continuing on the pool deck and walkways while we were there. Unfortunate since we were to get away from a huge construction project at our own house in Va. But we had a great time and would definitely return to the Friendly Flamingo.

Stayed at Friendly Flamingo with extended family, Grandmother, in-laws, children and one grandchild. Great location, very nice house and the best pool I have ever had the privilege to to use. The sunning table made the pool more useful and enjoyable for all ages. Located close to beech and shopping areas. Would want to stay there again if number of people going this year is not to large.
