Coffee table has beveled glass top and brass stand topped with bowl of marble eggs and 2 statues. There are 2 end tables in cherry wood topped with greenery and a few Fichus tree's. Cherrywood Armoire with 25" TV/ VCR BOTH WITH REMOTES. Beautiful elaborate millwork on fireplace, black marble surrounds the hearth. Built in cabinets w/ mirrored walls and glass shelving. Wall to wall plush grey carpet. Ceiling fan. The house was very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was well furnished with anything one might need to prepare a meal. The backyard was very private and the pool was great. The backyard also had a grassy area large enough to play yard games such as cornhole and washers.
We have been vacationing at Hilton Head for 11 years and have stayed in various rentals and this house was by far the nicest we have rented. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed to make our week of vacation an enjoyable one. While the home is beautiful, it was still very comfortable and warm. It is set up for large groups. The layout of the house was perfect and provided plenty of space yet we didnt feel disconnected from each other. We were a party of 7 adult women (4 generations) and 1 4 yr old and an infant. We fixed many of our meals inhouse and there were plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans, and dishes. We had several minor maintenance issues--doorknob fell off, gas grill wasnt working properly, but all were dealt with promptly. The only major issue if you could call it that, was the people who stayed prior to our week had moved a garbage can to the pool deck and it wasnt emptied. We didnt know where to place it for pick up and then the crows got into that garbage and made a mess. It was not Island Getaway's fault or that of the homeowner--just an unfortunate inconvenience.
