We invite you to stay at our Castle By the Sea. Located in the North Forest Beach area of Hilton Head Island, this seven bedroom, eight bath (six full and two half) home offers the best of everything for a family vacation. This home is located less than 90 yards to the beach. It is an easy walk to the popular Coligny Plaza.

Our Castle by the Sea offers seven bedrooms - Three kid-themed bedrooms for the children and four Master bedrooms with King Beds and en-suite bathrooms for the children. All of the bedrooms except one of the children’s bedrooms has a private, en-suite bathroom. Two of the four Master bedrooms have whirlpool bathtub...s as well as glass showers. All of our bedrooms and living areas are furnished with name brand furniture including Lexinton, Hooker, LaZBoy and Bassett. The bed linens are designers including Ralph Lauren, Disney Store, and Charter Club. All of the closets have been customized with built in closets for the utmost in storage and convenience.

Going to the beach? Included in the house is a plastic wagon for trips to the beach. Your Castle by the Sea is located less than 90 yards to the Beach. The walk to the beach is on a sandy road with little traffic. Located a few blocks from the large hotels, this section of beach is quiet and not very crowded.

What better for a trip to the beach than sleeping Under the Sea? For your mermaids and mermen, take a weeks’ vacation Under the Sea. Designed to feel like the children are under water with their Little Mermaid friends, the entire room is painted like water. Our Under the Sea room features a queen size bunkbed with Disney’s Little Mermaid bedding.

Not a princess fan? Our other Under the Sea room features friends from the movie Finding Nemo including Nemo, Dory and Crush the turtle. This room features two sets of twin bunkbeds decorated like castles under the sea.

Our 3rd themed bedroom is called Cottage by the Sea and features a cottage shaped bunkbed with a full size bed on the bottom and a twin on top.

This home offers a large (16 x 30 feet) pool with a heated spa. For those of you traveling with babies or toddlers, our pool offers a large sun deck step at the entrance to the pool which is six inches deep where young ones can sit and splash in the water. We have also included a swim out ledge around half of the pool for new swimmers to be able to play and rest. Surrounding the pool is a large deck area equipped with an outdoor kitchen which includes a gas bbq grill, refrigerator, countertop and seating. The pool area also includes plenty of lounge chairs and tables. At the street level is an outdoor shower for rinsing off after making sand castles at the beach.

Your family will also enjoy the other areas in the home including a large great room, a garage games room, dining room, and fully-equipped kitchen. The great room offers a big screen TV, VCR, DVD player, and stereo. For your seating comfort, the great room is furnished with a huge sectional leather sofa, an oversized chair and a long window box seat.

The custom kitchen is stocked with everything you would need to cook an entire Thanksgiving meal for a large family. No expense has been spared on this kitchen from the granite counter tops and custom cabinetry to the high end appliances. Don't like to do dishes? Do not worry, this kitchen has two full-size dishwashers for cleaning up even the biggest meal.

The house offers a computer with free high speed DSL Internet access/wi-fi. The games room in the garage has a pool table, small Little Tykes gym for kids, putting green, giant chess board, counter area and a tv.

Are there any train lovers in your family? Our home offers a full size Thomas like train table and train set for the junior engineers! Our Castle By the Sea offers a Wii system and games. After traveling with young children many times, we understand how stressful it can be to travel without all of the “equipment” that you have at home. With that in mind, we have tried to provide everything that a family with a young child might need. Included in your rental price are: a full-size crib located in one of the Master Bedrooms (like you have at home) 2 pack and plays, 2 high chairs, 2 Baby Monitors, a Graco baby swing, a Graco Deluxe Exersaucer, Fisher Price Musical Bouncer Seat, Baby Bathtub, toddler bed rails, gates for the top and bottom of the stairs, tons of toys, and videos.

The entire house offers air conditioning and heat for your comfort. All linens and towels are provided free of charge including beach towels. Each bathroom is furnished with a wall mounted hair dryer. There is a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board on the first floor.

Castle by the Sea is a fourth row house. The home is roughly 90yrds to the beach on a quiet, residential street. We are on the ocean side of North Forest Beach Road. The home does not offer ocean views as the views are blocked by other homes and landscaping.

  Great place for families with young children

  We recently had a very enjoyable stay at the Castle by the Sea during a family visit to Hilton Head. Our daughter and son-in-law invited us to stay with them and to help babysit our fifteen month old granddaughter. They also invited another couple and their two children along with the mother of one of the couple (another babysitter).
  
  The house is very well equipped for children and families. Baby gates are installed at the steps inside the house. There are boxes of toys and bookshelves full of children's books. In addition there is equipment for the beach from a beach umbrella to boogie boards to beach chairs along with a wagon in which to take these things to the beach. There is also an ample supply of beach towels on hand that we kept laundered up.
  
  On Sunday morning, it rained (thanks to alberto), but the children were able to play in the spacious basement. Fortunately that was the end of the rain so we were able to spend the rest of the time by the pool at the house, or at the beach, or riding bikes around Hilton Head.
  
  The location of the house is great. It is a twenty minute walk (pushing strollers) to the Coligny area for ice cream or shopping, but it's far enough from that more congested area that you don't feel like you are in the middle of things. The house is an easy two minute walk from the beach including the walk through the beach access.
  
  I enjoyed our suite. We were located just off the pool. I was able to step out the outside door to our room and hop in the pool for a lap swim when I got up in the mornings without disturbing anyone else.
  
  The pool is great for young children. The entrance area to the pool has a six foot ledge that is only five inches deep. It was a great place for our granddaughter to play in the water. The pool is treated with bromine (not chlorine). I found the bromine to be much easier on my eyes, hair, and skin than chlorine. There is no gate between the pool and the house so little ones do need to be monitored by adults carefully.
  
  The house is loaded with amenities. With the two dishwashers and stacks of dishes and cupboards full of glasses, we never had a problem with running out of dishes or glasses. There is one cupboard full of children's plastic plates and cups. There are also two washers and dryers.
  
  Everything in the house was labeled clearly including the light switches. The wifi was very fast. The beds were comfortable.
  
  We could have used a few more hooks and towel racks in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have a rocking chair to rock a baby. Due to the construction of the house (which I assume is governed by HH building codes) noise carries through the house easily. We were on the first floor so could hear the pitter patter of little feet above us if a little one was having trouble sleeping or if the child was crying.
  
  Overall our stay was great, and I would be glad to return to the Castle by the Sea again.

  Our favorite house in North Forest Beach!

  This is our sixth year traveling to Hilton Head and staying in North Forest Beach. We had 17 people in our group and everyone agreed that this was the best house we have stayed in. The house had everything we needed, fully stocked kitchen, ice maker, two dishwashers, outside refrigerator, comfy beds, seating outside and inside for everyone, tons of bathrooms and it was clean, clean, clean! We live by the ocean at home and one of the families that was with us in the house lives on the ocean, so we tend to stay at the pool and not go to the beach that much. The pool area had a spot for everyone to sit and we had a hard time getting the kids out of the pool! The spa is connected to the pool which is something that we look for when renting a house. When the kids did get out of the pool, the huge garage was a hit and they would play chess or use the pool table. It also had plenty of room for all the bikes and golf clubs! The upstairs loft was another place they would hang out at night before they went to bed.
  
  I would like to thank Debbie for everything, her attention to detail did not go unnoticed by our group!!

  Best family reunion vacation spot!

  We had a group of 18 family members between the ages of 17 to 81 stay at the Castle. We traveled from NY, FL, oh, in, and Wa. It was an absolutely amazing and wonderful vacation. Everybody (!!) thoroughly enjoyed the spacious home with all the amenities the owners could think of. All strongly agreed that this house plus it's proximity to the ocean, shopping, and restaurants was the best! The Castle By the Sea blew everybody away with the sheer size; the elevator to make the upstairs trips easier on my parents, the pool table, putting green, and even large chess board in the garage! The older kids (17 to 27) all loved the castle beds! The living room (wonderful couch and window seating) allowed everybody a prime spot for "movie night"! The easy walk and/or bike ride to Coligny was great for nightlife for the younger crowd too. The entire group is ready to book for next year! What great memories... Thanks for sharing this wonderful home!! We will soon be booking for next year.

  The perfect vacation home!

  I have stayed in this home three times and hope to stay there again. Each time I stayed with multiple families, all of which have young children. The home is fully equipped with everything you need to keep children and adults entertained. The kitchen is fully stocked and every little detail has been carefully considered. It really is a dream home! My children love to stay in the character themed rooms and I love that each room has a separate bath! If you have an infant or a toddler, you will be thrilled to not have to pack all those extras that you need to travel!
  
  It is amazing and I highly recommend making this your next destination in Hilton Head!

  My family and I rented Castle By The Sea for a week in March, with two other families - a total of 13 people. The house was amazing - more bedrooms than we could use, even with so many people, and a fantastic layout makes each bedroom feel very private, with spacious and inviting common areas that meant no-one ever felt crowded. Great kid's Disney theme rooms in common area on second floor, with video games that don't usually come with rentals, and a pool table and beach toys in the basement, which is also the garage - ample room for four cars if you park two deep.
  
  Everything in the house, from decoration to kitchen utensils, is top-of-the-line; incredibly well cared for, and was immaculate when we arrived. The heated pool (a per-day heating charge, which was totally worth it!), outdoor spa, grill, and built-in patio refrigerator let us wind down before dinner with a beer or glass of wine, while the kids splashed around - perfect. The beach is less than a block away, and a local bike shop provides discounts on rentals for people staying in the house - we had 5 bikes for a week at $85 + tax, thanks to this amenity.
  
  Can't say enough good things about this house - it is worth every penny and a fantastic place to stay with friends or for a family reunion. We loved it!

  We stayed at this amazing home for a week with our young children. The house was very clean and was perfect for our kids! The property managers were responsive and very helpful. The fantasy kids rooms were great and the kids loved the bunk beds! There were plenty of toys, books, games (Wii etc) and even a train table. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was first class. In fact, the entire house was first class - down to the smallest of details. The homeowners included a computer with internet access and long distance calling. The kitchen is stocked with all that you will need to prepare a meal and even has tons of kid plates/cups/sippy cups. The house is close to the beach and the homeowners even had a wagon and beach toys for the kids. We loved the private pool which we heated and we are glad we did because even when it was cool out, the kids went swimming. We would definitely stay here again - it was a great week.

  Dream House In Hilton Head

  We had a fantastic vacation in this house. It lives up to its name as a "Castle." We went with our family - 2 adults with kids ages 9 and 11 and one other family of 4. The place it decked out for both kids and adults. The kids had a great time with the big games in the basement, all of the electronic toys and the heated pool. They also played for hours in the decorated themed rooms. The grownups enjoyed the high end furniture, separate master bedrooms for each family and the kitchen. The beach is a very short walk and we went everyday. Riding your bike on the beach is unique to Hilton Head and the whole family had fun.

  Castle By the Sea is a great place for a family vacation. In fact our family has made it an annual trip -- it's that fabulous. We have a group of 9-11 every year ranging from 7 years old to 70. There's something for everyone. Relax in the pristine pool, walk a block to the beautiful sandy beach or take a bike ride around the island. The house is immaculate and very comfortable. Because everyone gets their own room (with all of the amenities) there are no complaints. If there's an issue just give a call and the house managers are right on it. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and the grill is perfect for a relaxing night on the patio. Beach towels, suggestions for restaurants, Wii -- all there for you. Debbie has thought of everything down to the smallest detail. Our family absolutely loves Castle By the Sea and will be returning again this year. We can't wait!

  Fun and relaxing

  This was fun and relaxing for all, young and old. A very short walk to beach so can go for many short trips a day, walk or bike, or look at beach, day and night. Easy walk/bike to Colignee Plaza. House is in very well maintained and stocked with many extras. Rooms are private, with great baths. Pool large and fun compared to nearby houses.

  Excellent Family Vacation Home

  This house has everything to accomodate any age group. We vacationed with 8 adults (including 2 grandparents) and 6 children ranging from 7 months-4 years old. We were very impressed with the house's cleanliness and warm family environment. We were able to enjoy the outdoors with the large pool, patio, and a short walk to the beach. Also, the location is terrific. It is very close to Coligny Plaza and the island's bike paths. Our family had a great vacation at this house and we have already booked it for the summer of 2012.

  It was such a pleasure to stay in a vacation rental that was so well equipped and in such a great location. My daughter was thrilled she didn't have to bring extra baby gear for her 10 month old and my 14 year old grandson loved the gaming system as much as the beach. I loved the fact that the house was big enough to accommodate everyone without feeling cramped. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back.
