The staff couldn't have been more helpful upon our having a few snafus. We were flooded out of our first apartment and they responded quickly, however, it was too unnerving to stay in the apartment while it dried out. They graciously moved us and the next apartment was great - no problems at all. We had a lovely time and will certainly rent again there.

Great to Get Away

This was our first time at Barrington and the overall location on the beach was great. 205 unit may have the best view at Barrington (Pool and Beach)-(or any unit in Barrington arms ending in 05). Pool was nice. There was a good mix of adults and kids, and fairly good access to the beach (cant get directly from the pool to the beach without walking around the shelter.
Condo and overall complex need a little updating, but overall it was very nice, clean and secure (No bugs). Palmetto Dunes is definitely a great place to stay on the island - centrally located and very private.
Room: A few negatives were old electric kitchen stove, no Internet/no wireless, and No storage or TV in 3rd bedroom. Bedroom curtains were very thin (See through) and didnt block any light or view into room. Small Family room TV, but everything worked. Closet doors, lampshades, and furniture drawers were broke but probably wont matter to your trip. Plenty of space including 3 full bathrooms which were great with 3-4 kids. Bring basic supplies as none were provided. -

We have stayed at various houses and condos on Hilton Head over the years. This particular location is ideal for the many activities that interest our family. The pool is the perfect size and there were plenty of children for our granddaughter to befriend. The beach is very accessible. Bicycling is great from that location and golf is so close by... We look forward to returning next year!

The unit was very large with a nice balcony that faced the ocean. The master bedroom had a large window with a beautiful view. The furniture was comfortable in the living room; but slightly worn. The kitchen was large and offered the essentials for cooking. The pool was very nice, clean and had plenty of chairs for laying in the sun. A charcoal grill was available for use also. The free Wi Fi was really a nice perk to have, since we had a teenager and young adults in the group. I would definitely stay here again; it was a wonderful vacation.
