This four bedroom villa, each with its own private bath, has been completely remodeled, from brand new furnishings to kitchen appliances to the fresh paint on the walls. Designer decorated with the finest attention to detail when you step into this lovely Harbour Town v...illa, you have stepped into true sophistication and luxury.
A small-gated courtyard giving you extra privacy from the outside encloses the main entrance. Upon entering you are met by a living area elegantly furnished with dark wood and rich colors. A spacious comfortable sofa (sleeper) and love seat accompany two refined leather chairs, which gives you plenty of space to sit and plan the day's activities. There is a TV, VCR, DVD and high-speed wireless Internet access.
A wall-to-wall stone floor covers the first floor from the living room to the dining area to the new completely remodeled kitchen. There is a wall of windows displaying the beautiful Low Country southern pines in the dining area, which has a table that seats up to eight comfortably, as well as a breakfast bar for two. Sliding glass doors off of the dining and living room grant access to the large balcony, which has a charcoal grill, table with seating for four and a few extra patio chairs. A stepping stone walkway leads you on a short pleasant walk to the nearby community pool. There is a separate laundry room to the side of the kitchen down a few steps, which is removed from the rest of the downstairs.
The second and third floors are lined in a soft warm wall-to-wall brand new carpet that gives you a feeling you are walking on a cloud. The first two bedrooms are located on the second floor, one with a king bed and one with two twin beds. The king bedroom is beautifully decorated with dark furnishings and rich autumn colors. There is a dark black headboard with matching black long dresser, two dark wooden nightstands and a nice wicker-sitting chair. The bedroom has a TV. The bathroom cabinets are a fine glossed wood, the floor is a soft light brown stone and there is a combination shower-tub.
The twin beds in the second bedroom have white headboards with matching dresser, a white wicker bed table and a wicker-sitting chair. There are beautiful sailboat paintings on the wall, as well as shell pictures and fish images. The bedspreads are light brown and green with a palmetto pattern and the curtains match. There is a television. The private bath has hall access with wooden cabinets, a stone floor and combination shower and tub.
Leading up to the third floor there is a hall painting of a golf tee reminding you that you are in Harbour Town only seconds away from the world famous Harbour Town golf course. The third bedroom on the third floor has a king-size bed with a clean white headboard with a matching long dresser and sitting chair and two sophisticated unique dark wooden nightstands. The multi-colored exotic comforter covers the bed and there are curtains to match. There is a TV, phone and alarm clock. The private bath with combination shower-tub has light wooden cabinets and a stone floor as well.
The fourth bedroom has two twin beds with black headboards and matching dresser and sitting chair. Lovely dark burgundy bed covers with flowers are on the two beds and there are curtains to match. The bath with combination shower-tub has wooden cabinets and a stone floor like the other bathrooms.
Every corner of this house is finely touched by a professional decorators hand. From the selection of colors to the fine taste in quality furnishings to the matching wall decorations, this property is made unique. You cannot help but feel right at home as you relax and enjoy your vacation time in this outstanding villa located less than a block to the internationally famous Harbour Town Marina with its lighthouse and many shops and restaurants.
Overall the place was nice, we had some issues with the heat not working when we checked in and the place was dirty. The cleaning service didn't do the windows or large mirrors and had left a pile of dirt on the floor. The towels left were stinky. We feel that since nobody had rented the place in a few months that someone should have gone by to spuce up and check to make sure the heat was on before we got there seeing it was a holiday weekend.
