probably our 8th year of renting a home for a week...great home, access to beach, updated furniture, roomy...room over garage was great for teenage son. nice pool.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The members of family who were upstairs found the heat unbearable. We would not stay at the unit again in the summmertime.

Loved the house, but didn't like how close it was to the high rise/public beach. The pool was great, and the closeness to the beach was awesome. Only about a two minute walk to the beach. The only downside to the house itself was the fact that one of the bedrooms was above the garage and was a separate entrance from the main house.

This is a very cozy and quite private property. We have 12 people 8 adults and 4 children and we just feel that as soon as school is out each spring we must spend a week in our second home. We have used 10 Armada many, many times with 2 rental agencies. I tried to lease it for 2010 but was unable to lease it this time which was heartbreaking news. We have only one week out of the year that all 12 of us can be free to vacation together and 2010 will be very different for us. Hope someone is happy in 10 Armada.

We loved the open floor plan of this home.Our entire family could always be together. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub being so convenient. The many windows made it feel like we were always outside. The multi-level deck was enjoyable as we grilled out several time.

This property was excellent for our family. It was updated and featured a loft above the garage for my parents. The only negative feedback was the loft was not made up when we arrived and it smelled of well water like it hadn't been used in a while. We called and they corrected the problem. Overall excellent and we hope to stay again!

Our stay in this home was one of the best in our 20 years of traveling to Hilton Head. The home met our growing family needs and was extremely comfortable. Having 2 family rooms with TV's & DVD's was fantastic -- one for the kids, and one for the grown-ups!
We enjoyed the pool & hot tub. Being so very close to the ocean was an added bonus. Privacy was very much appreciated; especially being so close to the Beach Club.
Our only suggestion is to have a bathroom out by the pool --- running in & out of the house was a problem for the kids.
We would definately consider staying here again! -

This is an older house that has been recently redone in some areas. The rooms are big & one of the bedrooms is over the garage area which is perfect for anyone wanting their own space. The pool is of good size but could use a resurfacing as the bottom seems to be erroding & the jacuzzi is awkward to use. Each bedroom had it's own bath & there was a half bath off the living area. The furnishings were nice & the beds were comfy.The house was clean & everything worked ok. We had no problems with Islandgetaway & have rented another house from them for next year. It was easy & fast to get to the beach area from this house. This was not a deluxe house but for the price it can't be beat. A good time was had by all!

We have stayed at 10 Armada twice and absolutely love staying there. The House has a great open floor plan with two sitting areas which is perfect, one for the grown ups and one for the kids. The laundry room has a new washer and dryer which means that we don't have to overpack.
We love the pool area which is surrounded by beautiful landscaping and there are covered sitting areas available pool side if you want to take a break from the sun.
The best feature is definitely the fact that it is just a few steps from the beach. That is SO convenient when you are carrying lots of kids gear and want to come back for lunch.
Last but not least, in our experience Island Getaway keeps a very high standard of cleanliness in their rentals which is greatly appreciated.
We really can't imagine staying anywhere else now!
