We have rented through Island Getaway for several years and the service is always the best. Personnel are always courteous and helpful. The home at 2 Long Boat is by far the best we have rented. The house is in excellent condition, clean, great amenities, up-to-date appliances, fixtures, etc. The pool was perfect for our family expecially the grandkids. We liked the back porch, overlooking the pool. Short walk to the beach. Plenty of room in the house for everyone to have "their space". We have already booked this house for July 2012. We typically do not book until after the first of the year, but, we wanted to be sure to get this house for next summer. Thanks to Island Getaway for facilitating our fantastic vacation. Thanks to the owners for maintaining their house in the manner they do. We had a great time and are looking forward to next summer on Hilton Head.

We were extremely pleased with this vacation home. The home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The layout of the home is well suited to vacationing with more than one family. We appreciated the short, easy walk to the beach and the supply of beach and pool toys in the garage. Best of all was the large, sunny pool off the gorgeous patio.
We would highly recommend this property and can see ourselves renting it again! -

Have been coming to Hilton Head for nine + years. We always try and find a four bedroom home near the ocean as they're usually a little cheaper than the oceanfronts. Our vacations typically are mini family reunions with our children and grandchildren. This year was no exception. We love to try different homes each year and compare with the previous year. Our home this year was excellent and for only the second time in nine years we've booked the place again for next year. The floor plan and bedroom accomodations easily accomodate three adult couples in king (2) or queen (1) beds and all the grandchildren (cousins) in the fourth bedroom on bunkbeds and a roll-a-way. Had plenty of parking for all cars and plenty of garbage space - know this is gross but that's usually a problem in past rental homes where you have a crowd and once a week pickup - but not here - two plus pickups and plenty of cans and bags.
If driving you may want to pack a couple of extra towels and an umbrella for the beach.
Never could figure out all the electronics(how to run all the ceiling fans and lights)on the property - guess we'll just try again next year. Property was also nicely lanscaped. -

This is a great vacation house. It is very close to the ocean, only a walking path away. No streets to cross. The pool is a nice size with plenty of room to run around the yard. Palmetto Dunes is a very nice, quiet area to vacation.

This was the Best Vacation Home we have ever Rented. It is well equiped, Close to the ocean without the wind! It was very comfortable for our entire family.
