We stayed at 4 Dinghy with another family and their dog. The accomodations were perfect for a large group. The pool was fantastic and the setting was incredibly private.

We had three families share this beautiful 2nd row Hilton Head home for a week. The decor is so fun and bright. There was plenty of room for all six adults, three kids without getting in the way of one another but yet a lay-out that allows for a great time visiting, eating and playing games, etc. in the great room/kitchen/dining area with the screened porch attached. The private pool is awesome and clean. The location to the beach is a minute or two minute walk. We have dealt with the owner and also Island Getaway for our two vacation stays and both were wonderful to work with. Luann is great to correspond with and truly cares about her rental and the happiness of her tenants. Can't wait to return.

From the very first our contact with Island Getaways was very warm. All our questions were answered quickly and all dealings were done in a professional manner. As for the house it was exactly what we wanted. The house was well maintained, beautifully decorated and equiped for the maximum pleasure and comfort of the guests. Location, close to the beach was what we wanted. Number four Dinghy had a wonderful screen enclosed porch and a lot of our time was spent there. No criticism at all, we walk away with great memories.

The photos on the internet looked great. However, the property had not been maintained or updated. The furnishing were worn. The cleanliness of the appliances left a lot to be desired. The toaster oven was filthy and comletely unusable. The service people did bring a new , cheap quality, toaster. Some of the blankets were musty and the service people did bring fresh blankets. The grounds to the entrance were not maintained and had a distasteful foul smell. At one time the accomodations probably were bright,clean,and cheerfull, however,it was now threadbare.

We love the location, pool, layout of the house and don't mind the crazy decor. This is our second year in the home. However, we can no longer go there with the beds. The beds must be be replaced or we will no longer rent here. Not just the master, but the other two main bedrooms. Thanks.

Our family (2 parents, 2 grandparents, 2 kids under 4) stayed at this home for a summer week and really loved it. The location is perfect - close to the ocean - convenient beach access - Palmento Dunes security and privacy - great bike paths. Great amenities on the property (oh the great open kitchen!, the screened in porch was fantastic, games, TV, bike rental, crib and high chair rental, very well furnished - beds, appliances, seating, decor). The pool is a shady part of the lawn. We used it every day, but it was chilly. The grill is usable, but not on the same level of luxury as the other appliances. The owners left activities and restaurant information - slightly dated, but a nice start. The laundry area is large. The loft would be perfect for extended families with more children (6+ years old due to the spiral staircase). Ample bathrooms. Very colorful - not the typical "neutral" rental. This is really a 4 bedroom, priced as a 3 bedroom. The proximity to the ocean was much better than I expected when selecting the property. Check-in and check-out was extremely smooth. We would rent this home again!

This home is a short walk to the beach without having to cross any streets. The best feature of the house was how spacious and roomy it is for a large group..from the laundry room to the kitchen. There are plenty of spaces to sit for dinner inside and out on the screened-in deck. The pool is completely private and heated (make sure the propane tank is full). When we visited the hot tub was broken. The surrounding area is very beautiful and perfect for walking or riding bikes.
