We are 2 families who have rented this house several times. The men and boys hate the beach and fish; the women love the beach and pool -- so everyone is happy. We bring a small boat that can be easily docked on the small dock on the property and the men/boys fish the canals at least 3 times/day and do great. The women take a short walk to the beach (5 minutes, very doable even laden with food/drink/chairs) and spend most of the day there before returning to the perfect pool (no bugs, lots of sun). The two master bedrooms are wonderful, common areas including kitchen are great. This is truly a vacation with wonderful memories in a wonderful home.

This is a great house for large family groups! We had two sets of grandparents and two families of 4 all together for a week. The large open living area and kitchen are perfect for family meals and hanging out, but each family had some personal space for quiet time too. The pool and hit tub are lovely and the home is just a short walk to the beach. We will definitely consider this home again!

The service we received on this home was the same as all our previous rental homes, impeccable. We greatly enjoyed the openness of the floorplan and the voluminous ceilings.All of the previous locations were convenient and well landscaped as this one. Price range does not matter, the natural beauty, the streetscape, and the individually landscaped lots are all beautiful.
We greatly enjoyed being a part of a gated community. It is reassuring at night to know that all traffic entering your community has been checked and monitored.
As my wife and I were homebuilders together for 25 years and I have taught building trades for 18 years we most enjoyed riding our bikes thru the different neighborhoods enjoying, discussing, and admiring the outstandingly crafted homes. You just have to know that most all of the builders and their workmen built with their minds, hands, and hearts involved in their work. We drove 13 hours to get there and put 32 miles on our bikes while there.
Our favorite dining spots were the Redfish and alexander's. The taste and presentation was always excellent. Thank you so much for such a restful vacation. -

We really enjoyed this home. The pool area was fist rate and the recently remodeled inside was also first rate. Location is very good with easy access and close enough to the ocean if that is waht you like ( our kids are more pool people).

First time in Hilton Head! This is a beautiful home with lots of extras! 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, large bedrooms and bathrooms. Fished a lot off the dock and used the kayak. We must have overlooked the part about paying extra to heat the hot tub so we were disappointed about not being able to use that but other than that everything was fine. Would definitely rent this home again!

We spent two weeks.
The house of spotless and all the amenities were great.
The pool and gazebo were very nice and while the fishing was slow - we spent time on the dock as well.
This is our 4th year through islandgetaway and this was definitely the best location and overall experience to date. Thanks. -

57 Mooring Buoy is an amazing house! Our stay was enjoyable and the ameneties were WAY above average. The owners left a nice "thank you" note and gift basket for us. We had issues with the cable in one room, but it was promptly taken care of while we out & about. Palmetto Resort security is pretty serious. With the home being right after a 3-way stop, we got our first "warning" for making a rolling stop before we ever found the house. The only negative was that 57 Mooring Buoy is not the actual address of the house. We drove in circles, with the help of resort security, trying to find 57 Mooring Buoy. After calling Island Getaways, we learned that the actual address of the house is 2 Sea Lane. That info would've been helpful if we were told in advance. Still, we had a wonderful time and the house was breath taking!!

The location was perfect for the beach lovers, just a short walk. The house was well equipped, attractively furnished, and well kept.
The grandchildren especially enjoyed the pool and the basketball hoop. -

We have come to HHI for the past 10 years or so. About 5years ago we started renting homes instead of Villas. While the villas are nice you just can not beat having your own private pool!
The house on Mooring Buoy was great. The pool was very private and large enough for the 6 of us to enjoy. We were only a short walk to the beach, I think this house is considered 4th row. We had the added benefit of being on the lagoon which allowed several of us to enjoy a little fishing. The beds were very comfortable as well.
All in all it was a very relaxing week and we would definitely rent this home again. -

We had a wonderful family vacation at this property. We have spent many vacations in Palmetto Dunes and highly recommend the area. This home was nicely furnished and comfortable. We like to cook for our group. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking equipment. The second refrigerator in the laundry room was a very pleasant surprise. We had not stayed at a rental home with two refrigerators before. The salt water pool was another bonus. Other great features we don't always find at our vacations homes are a gas grill, a front-loading washer, and a fishing dock. It is a short walk to the beach. We would definitely rent it again!

I have known Christine McMahon and her husband John for many years. I have rented from Island Vacations on several occasions. As with all rentals in the past, Christien found the rental that was perfect for my specific occasion. The house is very inviting with a layout that allows for ppll to get away from the crowd and still have room. The out door accomidations are particulary unique from an entertaining stand point. I would suggest this house to anyone considering entertaining clients to a week or weekend at Hilton Head.

We have rented numerous times with Island Getaway, stayed different
locations, homes and villas on the island and have never been
disappointed. The staff and services through this company cannot be
compared. This home was beautifully furnished and extremely clean.
The pool was an oasis offering both sun and shade for those super hot
days. The short stroll down the tree lined path to the beach was like a
private entrance just for us and so quick we felt like we were right on
the beach. Truly made us feel like the rich and famous, if only for a
week. We will surely return to this home. Enjoy!
