House cleaning needs improved. We found dead bugs on the floor in a couple of the downstairs bedrooms. The half bath off of the office den was not clean! In general the house is started to show its wear - many small items needs attention. The pool and hot tub were great!! This is our third year in this house during Thanksgiving Week. Location is excellent!

The house and location were great. We have stayed in this home for 6 years ,same week, same golf guys. The rental company Island Getaway is top notch. The house is very clean , but coudl use new Tv's.
No towels on the railings please!

The house was beautiful but the layout was odd. It would have been nice if there was an exterior screened area so we could enjoy the night air without being attacked by millions of mosquitos.
Of all the warnings and rules of the house something about towels on the railings would have prevented an annoying but humorous visit from the towel police! My niece took one for the team and got a warning.
The pool broke twice and was fixed twice in a prompt manner. The washing machine broke and was not followed up on or fixed. There was a hole in the basement ceiling where there was obvious water damage and an active leak...you really need to fix that!
There was a trail of dead ants behind our bed...yuck! And everyone complained about the mattresses being uncomfortable. The mattress in our room made an odd squeaking noise when you sat on it...not the boxspring.
The kitchen could have used a larger oven for the size of the house and available occupancy.
Island Getaways was very nice when I called even about stupid things. The area the house was in was beautiful. Loved the short path to the beach. Loved the beach. The house we rented last year was better suited to our family's needs as far as seating, and separate spaces for doing different activities.
Great Home and Fun Weekend

The Amateur Golf Tour from Virginia stayed in 6 Iron Clad this past October. What a great weekend it was, winning the National Championship, spending time with the guys and the World Series. We had a blast and the house was great, right by the beach, nice kitchen and bedrooms.
The only issue we had was with the Hot Tub, we paid for the Hot Tub the entire time and only used it three nights because they had heating issues with it. I feel we should have been given a return on payment for that.
Other than that it was by far a great weekend and we look forward to doing it again in 2009.
