Villa hIlls Kygood but could have been a lot better.

the house was very nice the bedrooms very nice but two areas that we had problem with was the pool was dirty and the filtering system did not work or it appeared it didn't work. the refrigerator we had problems keeping food cold. we had to throw away all of the food we had in the fridge because over night the fridge did not work.

We liked 8 Night Hawk, although we've liked other Island Getaway Properties we've stayed in more. The house is large, but the floor plan doesn't flow. The ground floor is where the pool and garage are. The pool is wonderful, as was the seating, and the privacy fence. You go up a flight of stairs to the entry floor, which has three (I believe) bedrooms and a common room with a television and a sink and refrigerator. The problem was that this common room isn't very comfortable for watching tv, which seemed to be its sole purpose.
Up the next flight of stairs was the kitchen, living room, and two master bedrooms. The bedrooms here were lovely, spacious and the bathrooms terrific. I don't believe we sat in the living room, though. Since there was no television, the common room below attracted people, but again, it wasn't a very comfortable arrangement. The dining table, while it accommodated all of us, felt crowded in behind the breakfast bar.
The bedrooms on the first floor felt crowded and the furniture was too large to move around.
That said, there were many decks off bedrooms with views of the ocean; the beach access was excellent; the bathrooms were all good; the furnishings tasteful (if a bit corporate); and the house large enough for 12 (easily).
We'd stay here again, but it wouldn't be our first choice of houses.
We love Hilton Head, though, and this is a great location. Don't turn it down if it's the only choice in the week you want. It's close to Coligny Plaza, great for shopping and restaurants, and it's a quiet part of the island. The beach is never crowded.
