We really enjoyed our stay at Cartgate 21! We had 15 people stay at this home and it did not seem crowded and the 6 bathrooms were great! We cooked a lot and had everything we could possibly need to make and serve meals. We had trouble with the heated pool and it was fixed immediately! All and all a wonderful experience and some place I would return to!

This house was more than adequate for our family of five. Two or three families could probably share it comfortably. The location was nice - secluded and quiet and a short walk to the beach. By far, our kids' favorite amenity was the swimming pool! It was nice to take a break from the beach and to be able to swim in the evenings. The pool probably made it all worthwhile. We happened to be there the week that the upstairs aC went out. Not a problem for us, but unfortunate for the homeowners. Goode Rentals was prompt in responding to the problem. No complaints.

I would highly recommend anyone with kids who is planning a trip to Hilton Head to consider this home. The check in was as easy as a hotel. We found the house to be clean and well equipped for our stay with everything we would need. The private pool was a bonus as we could spend our mornings at the beach (a convenient 10 min. walk) and our afternoons at the pool. The location is quiet and private and conveniently located on the island. There is plenty of room for multiple families to rent this home.There are 6 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms. Each room is equipped with a TV. The bedding was fresh and clean in each room. Fresh towels were laid out in each room. We especially enjoyed the fact that we had all the conveniences of home without the hustle and bustle of a hotel. Our children had a great time and enjoyed the privacy all the bedrooms and bathrooms gave them. My wife and I have found that cost wise with three kids we would have spent about the same amount for a hotel stay with multiple rooms. This is a much better alternative. Some people might complain about the walk to the beach. My opinion is it's good exercise and with bike rental and trails everywhere it can be a quick trip.

21Cartgate is a great vacation home which has all the amenities and comforts of home. We had 14 folks (all family) and we never felt as though there were more than 6-7people in the home. The 6 bedrooms and 5 baths served us well. The kitchen is Fully equipped with everything you need for all your meals. The pool was superb. After golf or beach dips were very refreshing. The deck and grill next to the pool was a great place for cocktails and conversation. The 9-11 minute walk to the beach is effortless and affords a little bit of exercise along the way. Our 5 and 8 year old nieces had no problem making the walk. In addition you can easily bike to the beach in a few minutes. Overall a 9.9 out of 10.

The house was exceptionally clean, spacious and provided all amenities of home. Spacious open floor plan that allowed plenty of room in the kitchen, family room and dining room for family gatherings. Very private cul de sec that was a brief and pleasant walk/ bike ride to the beach. Five bathrooms made it comfortable for group to get ready for evenings out. We especially enjoyed riding bikes through Palmetto Dunes and over to Shelter Cove. Nice size private swimming pool was a welcome change of pace from the beach. Two car garage was great to park the bikes in each night. Overall wonderful house and we will definitely be back!!!

This was our first time to Hilton Head, and the house was big enough for our family of 14. Loved having the bikes and boogie boards, but the house could have been better equiped inside. We had to call and ask for a broom, there were very few cooking supplies, and only cards to play with. The description said pinball games, should have said that they were coin operated. We have stayed in other homes on vacation and they had more amenities, like some books, Dvds, games,puzzles to add to our entertainment. When we called Goode Vacation Rentals for more sheets,a working toaster and lightbulbs they were right on it, which we appreciated

We had extended family with a total of 12 people. The home fit us all comfortably and the amenites suited all from ages 4-64. The pool was very refreshing, the location a nice walk to the beach, and the bikes were an added plus (thank you!) We appreciated having the home cooled daily and quickness at which the service arrived when we had the plumbing issues. Some recommendations for the owner. We believe there was black mold around the ceiling fan in the bedroom next to the bonus room. We did not sleep in this room as we feared it would be dangerous. The plumbing should be inspected as we had overflows daily. (There was no mop for us to clean it up!) The kitchen needs measuring cups, large plastic bowls for chips and salads, and a full set of plastic cups/plates. Every home should also have an emergency kit with bandaids (we had a wipe out on the bike) and a flashlight (we had a storm that did flicker some lights) and a sewing kit with scissors to accomodate that unexpected emergency (our bathing suit ripped).

My extended family stayed here in mid June. The house was very spacious and comfortable. The pool and the bikes in the Garage were a hit with the whole family. The beach was a pleasant 10 minute walk/4 Minute Bike ride from the house.

The home is really great, spacious, clean - All the appliances worked, a window that was broken when we arrived was fixed while we were there; We were amazed that there is NO MAILBOX for the villa- we expected mail and found out that it was not delivered but sent to a dead letter box in NY. The only other slight drawback is the small-ish deck around the pool (which did not matter to us, since we did not spend the extra $500 to heat the pool) - and the weather was much too cold to think about swimming anyways. We spent our time at the beach, riding bikes and and ..we had a great family-get-together!!

Our whole family(all 14 of us)wanted to spend quality time with each other and celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniverisary. Staying in 4-5 hotel rooms wasn't the way we wanted to go, so renting a home where we could all be together, just made great sense. The house was clean and we had all the comforts of home. If there was something that we needed, we made a phone call and had it within the day. We really enjoyed our house and it had plenty of room so that everyone had their own bed and plenty of room to spread out. We loved the backyard and the pool was used a great deal! We found the property managers to be extremely helpful and prompt. The dryer died while we were visiting, and they had a new dryer in our home within 24 hours. We all have very pleasant memories of our time at Hilton Head and I'm sure that we will rent another house in the future so that our family can spend more quality time together. Thanks for making our time so enjoyable!
