This 1 bedroom second floor Beachwalk villa features a landscape, lagoon, and golf view from your private wraparound deck. The entry foyer and kitchen are tiled and feature skylights and a breakfast bar. The living room is furnished with a sleeper sofa, 42” Flat Screen TV, DVD/VCR, and stereo. Guests here have access to a full bathroom in the hall as well.
The master bedroom has a king bed, TV with DVD, and sitting area. The master bath features a tub/shower combination.

This was my third rental at Hilton Head, in Beachwalk, and by far the worse. The entire unit is old, outdated and in disrepair. The front door entry is very insecure. Doors and drawers are off tracks, mini blinds damaged, carpet very worn. Overall furnishings/decorating of poor quality. Roaches coming inside, daiIy, most on their backs, but alive. In general, not a comfortable unit. And last, disregard the photos of the villa. The location is good, and parking is convenient.

It wasin a great location. There was a few things that needed tending to upon our arrival on June 25 2011. We called the office and it was promptly tended to. The condo needed to be cleaned more spider webs and bugs was the main problem. i would stay there again if this was looked after. the wallpaper neede to be replaced also. I empahsize the location was Great. We had a good time there, weather was Great. Offer us a good deaal on rates and we will return next year. Ron.

The bathrooms, kitchen both need to be completely renovated,dishwasher was hanging out of the cabinets, drawers do not function, carpet badly needs replacing, airconditioner is not adequate even when following the guidelines posted. Location is good, new deck and stairs noted. Would not rent again. spoke with alice allen at HHI vacations about the concerns. Owner has not followed her recommendations in the past apparently. Roach patrol every morning no different than other places as this is the south. We rented a three bedroom for the following week as family were arriving and it was the best one we have ever rented.

Our key was not in the lockbox upon our arrival, but this was resolved within an hour. The number 142 was not in sight, but this was a minor issue. Otherwise we were satisfied.

We liked the floor plan of the condo and especially enjoyed the lagoon and its resident alligators, turtles, crane, birds, etc.
The living room glass-top coffee table was dangerous in that it has very sharp corners and the floor position ensures bumping the table upon entry to/from the deck. Parking was crowded and all of the units were not occupied. -

The condo was beautiful and comfortable and the location was great -I would suggest an update on the air-conditioner or maybe sun film on the sliding glass doors - we had to find places to go in the afternoon because it was too hot in the condo - AC could not keep up. Would rent again at a different time of the year.

We wanted to escape the snow and cold, as so many other snow birds do, so we came down to Hilton Head for a winter get away. The accommodations were perfect and our experience with Resort Rentals was excellent also. We have rented through other rental agencies in the past, but they have not checked on our experience, so we felt that their customer service was a bit lacking.
Last, but not least, when I checked out there was a Clemson Tiger behind the desk who really appreciated my Clemson hat!

What a nice warm welcome. The fans were on and everything was spotless. All new appliances and a great view overlooking the golf course and lagoon. We want to buy the unit!
You have to remember its a rental and its going to have wear and maybe the rug should be replaced and the floor slants in spots, but that just adds to it and remember it was built on sand. We loved the location and spent two wonderful weeks. Besides watching the antics of the golf players, we watched the snapping turtles, egrets, and alligator. Being at Shipyard plantation is a great location. I know that I would rent this unit again and if its available to buy, please call me! I must also comment that Resort Rentals does a great job and their employees should be commended! We can not think of anything that would create a negative comment about this unit and get jealous thinking about somebody being in "our" place. Can't wait to be back. -

We rented this one bedroom villa for one week in August. The size and location of the villa was great for our family. We were very comfortable for the entire week. The location couldn't have been any better. It was a short walking distance to the beach and there are lots of walking/biking trails to explore. Shopping and other activities were within biking distance or a short drive in the car.
The amenities that we appreciated the most were the distance to the beach, bike trails, the pool, a bathtub, and washer/dryer inside the villa. The TV's and large room sizes were great, as well. Understanding this is a rental with lots of people coming and going, felt the carpets could have been a little cleaner. It seems to be a little older, but in overall good condition. Towel supply for 4 for the week may have been a problem if the villa did not have the washer/dryer.
Renting from Resort Rentals was an overall good experience, and we will consider doing so again in the future. Although we didn't have problems or issues during our stay, I felt the associates were friendly and helpful and would have been comfortable calling for assistance. -

Beachwalk is a very nice location for four reasons: Golf (there are three courses located in the gated community), Bike riding--there are many riding paths within the community.the beach which is a short walk away. and finally, the view from the condo ( it looks on a golf course and a meandering small brook)
Beachwalk 142 is clean, roomy enough for one or two people, but, in my estimation, is poorly constructed. I mention this because it discourages any investment ie, purchase of a condominium.
As a rental, it is fine.
