This fifth floor villa is one of the finest Captain’s Walk units available! It has a fabulous view of the Atlantic Ocean and beach from the balcony, living room, and master bedroom. The balcony can be accessed from both of these rooms. The fabulous new kitchen opens into the living room featuring a 37” flat screen TV.
The master bedroom features a king bed, 32” flat panel TV large private bath with beautiful cabinetry. The second bedroom is furnished with two twin beds and a bathroom that can be accessed from the hall or bedroom.

We enjoyed our stay at Captains Walk and this unit. It would have been nice to have a few more towels! I realize they don't supply beach towels-which is strange in a beach property-but more bath towels were definitely needed! It's vacation afterall, who wants to do laundry? This unit was well furnished but could use a few more serving items, bowls, platters. Also, they need a pitcher or two for lemonade, tea.

Beautiful beachfront condo, wonderful ocean view! The condo was updated & very clean. The pool was clean and grounds were well maintained. We had a wonderful vacation!!!

Sometimes it can be difficult to determine the quality and cleanliness of rental properties based on pictures alone. This unit is clean, comfortable, and updated (down to the silverware). The ocean view can't get any better. I would rent again...especially to elimate the concerns of not knowing what you're in store for until you arrive at a rental property. I had no complaints.

We had wonderful accommodations. It was all very organized and hassle free. The information desk at the front of the plantation was most helpful in guiding us in places to go and things to do. As a family we relaxed and had fun every day.

We enjoyed our time very much. However, small things in the condo were broken. The patio table was broken, a shelf fell out of the fridge, the hooks in the master bath came off in our hands, and it looked as if the air conditioning was beginning to freeze. There was a great deal of condensation on the ceiling ac vent in the dining room. However, we ignored all of those tiny things and focused on the view and the ocean!

This condo was wonderful. This was our 4th trip to Hilton Head. We loved this condo and Palmetto Dunes. The location was great. The view was spectacular. The condo was well designed and decorated. It had a great supply of kitchen accessories. We would definitely recommend this property. The only minor downside is that the unit does not have keyless entry, so you have to keep track of keys and return them to the rental office at the end of your stay.

We have never been to Hilton Head, but after our vacation at Captains Walk 425, we will be back. Great condo, view, location. Only suggestion is another TV in guest room. My kids were bummed when they didn't have their own tv.

I have been visiting Hilton Head for the past 15 years. This was my first visit to Captain's Walk. My husband passed away suddenly in March 2008 and this was my first time without him being there. I stayed for four weeks. Walked the beach almost every day, enjoyed the marvelous view and just had a relaxing time. The unit itself needs some brighter lighting in the living area as it was difficult to read with improper lighting. I purchased some higher wattage lightbulbs, but it did not help much. I purchased a few other items that seem to be needed for someone that is staying a longer length of time, which I left there. I am returning in April 2010 for six weeks and look forward to it as you can imagine being in Northern NH for the winter, going south is a treat!

This place is wonderful! We keep coming back becuase we love the location and how close it is to the grocery. Our daughter keeps calling it "Our Vacation Home". We look out the balcony door and there's the ocean. The thing we like the least about Vacation Home is when we have to leave!

I loved 425 Captains Walk it was everything we had hoped for and much
more. The condo was beautifully decorated and had just enough space for
the 5 of us and the views spectacular! I would definitely rent this unit
again.
Palmetto Dunes is a very family friendly area and the fact that life guards
are present gives you an extra measure of security. I know that while we
have small children this is where we will continue to stay.
The only downside for this condo was not enough pots and pans were
provided to really cook a family meal. I love to cook so the lack of pots &
pans and the poor quality of what was provided was a real draw back for
me and forced us to eat out more than we had planned to. We have a 2 yr
old so eating out is not always the best option.
425 Captains Walk is a beautiful unit and I would recommend this property
to anyone would enjoys spectacular ocean views.
