We stayed in Captains Walk 483 the first week of april. The place was wonderful and worth the money. It was so easy to sleep listening to the Ocean. We enjoyed every moment of the Ocean Front Balcony. Everything was fully equipped so there were no concerns with having to bring anything for the kitchen.

We loved our room, loved the amenities in the resort, loved the pool - everything about our stay was absolutely and in all other ways wonderful. That's why we stayed there 2 years in a row. We wished we could afford to stay next year. If there was a discount offer, we would surely stay in the summer of 2013. Let us know if that is available.

Thoroughly enjoyable weeklong stay at Captains Walk. The condo is in great shape with a beautiful view of the ocean and beach, probably the closest building to the shoreline along the coast. It's centrally located to shopping, golf, restaurants, etc. Would suggest the property manager inspect the shower glass, leaked quite badly along the joints, and just a personal item, the bed was really rock hard and not the most comfortable for us, but it may be for others. We would consider a repeat visit and rental of this property .

We have been to Hilton Head for vacation many times. This trip was very easy and stress free. Our teenagers also enjoyed it as well. The unit was nicely updated, especially the master bath. Would love to stay here again.

We appreciated the fact that we received our check in information early. The view of the beach was beautiful. The shower in the master bath was awesome. The bed in the master bath was not my favorite. Overall we really liked the condo.

We totally enjoyed our stay in the Capt's Walk 483. This unit is updated, well equipped and perfectly maintained. The view is wonderful as well.

We have stayed in the same complex previously and have been very pleased every time we stay there. The trip was for relaxing on the beach, taking long walks, reading and just enjoying time together. We took a family vacation with the kids later in July and stayed at another location. We trust Resort Rentals and will always check there available properties first whenever we choose to return! Accomodations were good and the view was great. Unit 483 was very quiet since it was not over the pool area. The master bathroom shower was a plus with all the shower heads. You don't see that very often. Flat screen TVs in every room was nice even though the only HD was in the living area.
Check in was very slow especially since I arrived early. I was not able to check in until nearly 6 PM. That is a long time if you have had a long ride. ;-)
The only negative on the unit that I can think of is that I wish it included a pass to the tennis center like other rentals. -

This unit has the absolute best view. It is clean, comfortable and well kept. The master bathroom is fabulous and includes a shower with a true spa like experience. Improvements would be an update of the second bath and a better selection of cook ware. All my 4 star ratings would have been 4 1/2 should it allowed me to do so. We love this unit, the property, and the island.

The views from this condo are breathtaking! The master bathroom and kitchen had wonderful upgrades. The only complaint we had was that the beds were uncomfortable. The condo was lovely and we would recommend it! ( maybe the mattresses could be replaced)

All aspects of the vacation were excellent. Staff with online check-in were very helpful and were able to make several very good recommendations as where to dine.
Unit was perfectly located, very clean and quiet- only noise was thwe sound of the ocean..
Needed a couple of minor amenities-cocktail-size glasses, wine glasses, and a collendar.
All aspects of the transaction occurred exactly as advertised and follow through was perfect. -

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 483 Captains Walk. We loved the view from our unit. You could either look out from the livingroom window or off our balcony and see the weather and how many people were out on the beach. Our unit worked out really well for us. My husband and I had the master bedroom, and it was beautiful, with a great view and with the sliding glass door open at night, the wonderful sound of the ocean. The shower in our master bath was excellent, and the bathroom was extremely nice.The kitchen was very attractive and easy for us to use, but we didn't cook much in there. Two recommendations for the place. It would be nice to have a queen bed and a twin in the second bedroom. We had some grandchildren that made the sleeping arrangements a little creative. Also the bathtub in the second bathroom had some finish peeling off of it. It was hard to believe that because the unit was in pristine condition other than that. We had a memorable week, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Would definitely return to 483 Captain's Walk. We've stayed in other Captain's Walk condos; but, this one is the best. Everything worked! Had internet capability; large screen TV (would have been more convenient if there had been a channel lineup). The location is centrally located especially for golf abd fishing along with restaurants and shopping (what more could one want). The way Resort Rentals handles the reservations and information for check-in is a plus...really enjoy being able to drive-up to the front door at one's convenience when it's time to start the vacation. We throughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to next year's trip.

Water was luke warm in shower. Didn't care for that. What was really annoying was the pest control rang the door bell just one time, then proceeded to barge in. Glad we had the chain lock on the door, since we were taking a nap, scared the bejeezers out of me. We love Palmetto Dunes and Captain's Walk. The area is beatiful and we like the security guard. The home was clean and lovely. We were pleased with Resort Rentals, they are always professional.

Accomadations were wonderful. From the moment we walked in until we left we felt totally at home and comfortable. Having a full kitchen provided us the freedom from dealing with leaving the beach and driving to a restuarant to eat. This gave us much more time to spend on the beach enjoying the beautiful weather, or swimming in the sparkling clean pool. Parking was convienent, location was near the "Piggly Wiggly" for groceries. The view from the balcony was wonderful. This property had an unobstructed view of the ocean. I would highly recommend this property, and plan on returning.

The weather was great, the view outstanding, the condo was beautiful. Our overall experience was superb as always. This was our 6th year to Hilton Head; each time we have stayed at a different place, but I think we have found our "spot". We hope to return and book the same room for next year. However; I do have 1 complaint...Housekeeping! Our check out time was for 10:00 AM. At 7:00 AM housekeeping was ringing the door bell until we answered. We had packed the night before and had planned on a nice, relaxing morning. We told them that we wouldn't be out until 10:00. We proceeded to carry our luggage down to the car and were approached again by housekeeping; they were sitting in their car approaching people as they came down with their luggage wanting to know when they would be out. I found this very unprofessional and creepy! We wound up leaving an hour early. We were going to let you know in person when we dropped the key off, but no one was there and the key was dropped in the slot. Please address this with your housekeeping staff; we would love to come back.

We loved our condo! The master shower was awesome, a nice updated kitchen, great decor, very clean and we had a great view! There were a few minor things that could be improved...1) the master bathroom does not have a door to seperate it from the master bedroom. Therefore, when I would wake up early to start my day, my husband could hear me and could not sleep as late. 2) the blinds in the master bedroom do not meet so the sunlight shines in really early (a good thing to get us up early to enjoy our day but couldn't sleep as late). Very minor things that prevented us from catching up on some sleep, but we would definitely stay there again!

Unit 483 at Captains Walk was exquisite. It truly was perfect in every way. We
loved the view, the beach and the updated unit. It is clear that the owners and
rental agents put tremendous time, thought and care into decorating and
caring for this unit. I am fussy and didn't find anything problematic. Although
the unit is compact it felt open and spacious. The color selection and
decorating moves united everything and allowed the rooms to flow together
creating a larger sense of space. We were pleasantly surprised about how
quiet and peaceful it was both inside and out. We are grateful for the
opportunity to live in it last year and are hoping to book this unit again next
June. We highly recommend it! -

This was our first trip to Hilton Head Island and we truly enjoyed it. Very low key, not the place to go if you're looking for theme parks, entertainment for the kids, etc.
Captains Walk was an excellent vacation condo. All the amenities, excellent views, great pool, etc. Our only complaint would be the noise of an air conditioner a short distance along the hallway from this unit, but in mid-April it ran only part of the time.
We had quiet, considerate neighbours, and we would happily book it again. -

Captains Walk 483 is lovely and the view is excellent. We have rented at Captains Walk through Resort Rentals for many years, however this was the first time we encountered two issues that would make us hesitate to use their services in the future. The first is that CW483 does not contract for the use of the tennis courts and my sons were disappointed when we arrived and they were told they could not play on the Palmetto Dunes courts. Secondly, my husband smokes and when we arrived home we were hit with a $269 fee for additional cleaning services. The next time we will be more careful when retaining a rental agency and reading the fine print.
