This first floor Evian unit features updated furnishings with a bright and airy feel. The living room is furnished with a sleeper sofa for additional accommodations and a 42” flat screen TV.
The master bedroom features a king bed, TV and private bath. The guest bedroom has two twin beds, TV, and access to the hall bath. Both bathrooms feature tub/shower combinations.

We didn't realize it until we pulled in; we stayed in this same home on our first visit to Hilton Head a few years ago. We loved it then and we loved staying here this visit. Feels like home; clean, beautiful and quiet.

Really very pleasant and comfortable location. The house had all of the modern features. It also felt like a home with books etc rather thatn a abare bones rental

Really enjoyed the bike trails and layout of Shipyard Plantation. It was a very pleasant place to stay. Was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the community pool (water was dirty) & had some problems with roaches in our villa during the week. But, overall, we basically still enjoyed our week & would consider coming back next year.

We enjoyed the amenities at the Shipyard, particularly easy access to beach, bike paths, golf, tennis. Very quiet & good security.
The unit (Evian 120) was a little "tired" in some areas. Kitchen floor, outside patio, carpet at entrance. Unit did not feel "clean".
Found a big dead cockroach on the floor in the guest bedroom.
Toilet overflowed once.

Home was clean, and fairly nice in the way it was furnished, but a little dated - especially the bathrooms. We did enjoy the place and felt is was about the same quality as other places we had rented in Shipyard. Kitchen was the best room in the house. Outside patio was not very well kept up.
Wehen we arrived, we discoverd there were no sheets for the sleeper sofa in the living room. We called the Resort Rental Office and sheets were delivered in a very short time. It was the first time we had ever had to call the office about anything, and we were pleased with the quick and helpful response.
The location in Evian was very good, and we liked walking to the beach and pool. Our home was on the lower level, and there was some noise from the unit above us. Next time we stay in Evian , we may look for a unit on the upper floor.
Overall - the experience for Summer 2009 was good, and in keeping with others we have had on Hilton Head. We have been going there to vacation for 20 years, and intend to return.

We booked our vacation within a month's time so everything was expedited quickly.I appreciated getting a live person when I called and everything was set up seamlessly upon arrival through check-out. The home was furnished and equipped better than the description/pictures portrayed, and my family had plenty of room to spread out (which is invaluable to parents of 4 & 7 year olds). We love Shipyard as it is centrally located and the two gates allow easy access to popular island spots. I've vacationed in Hilton Head all my life and this trip was by far the best. The scenery, bike paths, tennis courts and beach within a walk from the front door made it low maintenance and affordable. The only complaint we have was nocturnal residents walking above our ceiling from 1am-4am; ok if we slept through the night, but difficult to return to sleep if we were awakened for some reason. As I mentioned, being parents, we're accustomed to interrupted sleep occasionally so we rolled right along and kept plenty of caffeinated beverages in the refrigerator. Loved it and desperately hope to return!
