We have now rented 4 Turtle Lane for 3 years. We love the beach and the location was awsome. Basically we walked out our front door past one of the two pools right to the beach. The location is close to the Beach Club, but far enough away that we did not have the big crowds. We love the condo because it has 3 full baths and 3 bedrooms which is ideal for 3 couples. The living space is open and light, with a very modern kitched. The back deck overlooks the lagoon and it is so quiet and peaceful except when a gator would swim by.
One thing we miss having is a grill, but the kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook in.
The agent that we rent through is very easy to work with and check in is as easy as you showing up at check in time and opening the door. The parking can be a problem is you have more than 2 cars. We found that we had to park back behind the beach front condos.
I would highly recommend 4 Turtle Lane if you are looking for luxury, walk to beach property and peace and quiet.Response from Resort Rentals of Hilton Head Island - 10/15/2012

Our family of 5 (including 3 young kids) loved it there. Lots of room, very close to beach, enclosed space in front to keep bikes and beach gear, & plenty of alligator sightings. The Turtle Creek property was lovely and lush as well.

Absolutely fantastic location. We love Turtle Lane because of the proximity to the beach, golf and other Sea Pines amenities. 4 Turtle Lane was the nicest of 4 units we've rented in this community. Everything was new, clean, and livable. The only knock on the whole week was that our rental bikes were stolen the first night...and found a week later on the other side of the property. This was quite surprising for SeaPines and for the gated community of Turtle Lane.

We loved 4 Turtle Lane! It was a quick bike ride to Lawton Stables, The Salty Dog and to Harbor Town. You can't beat the central Sea Pines location. We were also across from the swimming pool and about a block away from the beach. The perfect location! We traveled with our 22mos. old son, and another couple with their 5 year old son. The house was nice being 3 bedroom and a den that could have been used as a fourth bedroom for a child. I have only two complaints about the property. It was bright through the blinds in all of the rooms in the morning. (We love to sleep in total darkness, so we were up with the sun.)Also, there are no locks on any of the doors. With two curious boys it would have been nice to lock the bathrooms or keep them from running out the front door! Otherwise, the kitchen was well appointed and had everything you could ever need on vacation. The washer and dryer are a nice bonus! The house was decorated perfectly, classy beachy!

This was our second time at Turtle Lane and first time in this unit. We were really impressed with how nice this place was inside. New hardwoods, new modern kitchen, very nice bedrooms (especially the master), flat screen TVs everywhere, and lots of unique and cool artwork. The bathrooms have been upfitted as well, and the master has a large tiled shower. The back porch is private and quiet, with a pretty view of the lagoon out back. There are lots of herons, egrets, and other fishing birds, turtles, and even a (relatively small) alligator. There were even some baby alligators - I've never seen that on Hilton Head before and have been going there nearly 30 years. The location is very convenient to the beach, and a few steps from one of the two pools, which are in shaded areas, so even in the hottest weather they were nice and cool. My kids really enjoyed this after a long hot day on the beach. At night there is ample, lighting sources inside, which can all be adjusted to create a very relaxing atmosphere.Aside from being close to beach, it is also within a bike ride, via the bike paths, of both Harbor Town and South Beach. Also right across the street (3 minute walk)from Ocean and Heron Point (formerly Sea Marsh) golf courses. You can't get a better location within Sea Pines.We were happy that there was a fence/gate at the entrance to the condo, since we had brought our bikes (and I had forgotten the lock) we were able to put them all inside the gate at night. Not that you would really need to worry about someone stealing the entire property is behind gates. Sleeping arrangements were very comfortable with large, comfortable King in the master, another large bed in second bedroom, and twins in the third. Very quiet at night, nothing disturbed us any night we were there. I hope we will be able to stay there again in the future, since it was perfect for me, my wife, and three kids ages 9,6, and 2. It had everything we were looking for and then some.

Wonderful villa in a great location. Close to the pool (but not too close) and very short walk to the beach. The villa was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Kitchen was great! The wildlife out back kept our interest as well. We plan to come back to this villa.

My husband and I planned this trip for our 1 year old and 3 year old, as well as my mother in law and sister in law. The home was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated (inspired me!), and quiet. The pictures don't do it justice. The den was a nice unexpected bonus that we put baby girl in with her pack and play and loved that we could close off the pocket doors. The front area inside the gate was convenient for keeping beach stuff. The walk to pool and beach was close and the lagoon was a great place to ride bikes and see beautiful homes. We were pulling out around 9a that last day and the cleaning people were there to get started (very efficient and nice for next guests). We were close to lots of great things in Sea Pines and felt we couldn't have picked a better spot. We definitely plan to stay at this unit again. Thanks so much for sharing your home! Julie and Lars

We were very pleased with the unit. It was light, clean and as my granddaughter observed "has five TVs!" We liked that there is a little courtyard in front where we could keep our beach things and bikes. The deck in back faces west so we rigged two beach umbrellas to give us shade. Best of all it was ready early in the afternoon.of our arrival.

My family has been staying at the Turtle Lane Club villas for summer vacation for 15 years. We have rented 7 different villas over the years. The new renovation to Turtle Lane 4 made it the best villa rental we have stayed in. We loved the big kitchen and the great view of the lagoon through the kitchen window. The high tech big screen TV was awesome once we got the hang of using all the different hand controls.

I have utilized the services of Resort Rentals for five years now. For the fourth year in a row, my family and I have rented this beautiful home. The house has all the amenities needed for a great vacation. We often make breakfast and dinner at the house and we have always had everything we have needed to do so.
The deck outside is a great place for the end of the day to unwind and share memories that were made that day. If, like my father, you enjoy the sight of alligators, you will find them sunbathing outside during the day as well and can watch them from the safety of the deck.
What originally drew me to the house is the proximity to the beach and the golf courses. My family vacations each year on Hilton Head and as with most families, we each have things we enjoy. While I have a quick walk to the beach to work on regaining my sanity, my sister and her husband are a stones throw away from both the Sea Pines and Harbortown golf courses. For my parents, who enjoy the beach preferably under the shade of the Beach Club grill/bar area.....with a short walk they can enjoy a good lunch.
This year we brought down a friend of the family who is in a wheelchair, the hard wood floors allowed for her to have easy access of the house.
I will continue to rent this house each year....hope you and your family enjoy your vacation as much as my family does!!!! -

we have stayed at MANY turtle lane properties including 32, 36, 10 and 11 and enjoyed all of them, but turtle lane 4 was, by far, our favorite property. all of the bedrooms and bathrooms were tastefully done and recently updated. the kitchen was very modern and there was plenty of space for our kids to spread out and play. the den was a great bonus room that we didn't know about via the website so we were pleasantly surprised with the added space!

We enjoyed our week stay In June/July 2009. The unit was very clean and beautiful! The colors were beachy nd the high ceiling made it really light and airy. The location of our unit was a very wuick walk to the pool and beach. We could come and go all day and never get in the car. We also we close to the golf course and work out place ! We loved it ! We would jump on our bikes and explore every day...Great Place!

We have stayed in this rental for the past 3 years. We love it. The place is clean and updated. The kitchen has a wonderful view of the lagoon. That makes it great to be in the kitchen. The bedrooms have a nice beach feel. The open floor plan for the living and dining are is beautiful.
