This is our second stay @ 203 TM. Great location near the pool. Nice covered deck with a newer gas grill. Furniture needs to be updated. Housekeeping did not leave us with T.P. soap papertowels etc. When we notified the rental company they did deliver these items the next morning. Also , the area rugs needed cleaning. This a pet friendly unit and overall our stay was nice. We would consider staying here again in the future

Overall we were well pleased with #203 and the pool property close by. The only suggestions we make are please purchase new bedding (including mattress covers for the twin beds) as the current ones are too small and pop off the beds during the night! Also ask the owners if they will fix the gas grill so the whole grill will work. Otherwise we loved the convenience to the beach and pool, and how well stocked the kitchen is. See you in May!

Have just got back from two weeks staying in Tennismaster 203 with my wife and kids (10 and 12), and have had a fantastic time. Firstly location - this is our second stay on Hilton Head, we were in a hotel just north of the island last year which was very nice, but this year we wanted our own place close to everything HHI has to offer. We did think about staying in Sea Pines but actually we couldn't have done better than pick this property. The Shipyard Plantation is ideally located off Us278 with an entrance on Pope avenue, giving easy access to Coligny Beach and Plaza, and an entrance on Us278 giving easy access to Wexford and everything further up the island. The Plantation is immaculately maintained with small lakes (including gators and turtles), golf courses and trees covered in Spanish Moss around every corner. There are miles of bike paths which we made good use of, and the whole area is easy to navigate by car, bike or on foot.
Secondly the property - it's exactly as described by the rental company - spacious, nicely decorated and with lots of extras to make your stay really easy and enjoyable. Tennismaster is a quiet road and there is plenty of parking. The two bedrooms upstairs are large and have their own en-suites (shower over bath in one, walk in shower in the other) and both have cable, dvds and balconies. The large open plan room downstairs has a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge area, with patio doors that lead out to the porch. There is also a separate utility room with a washer and dryer. The back of the property overlooks a garden and the pool (shared by all the Tennismaster houses, great size, always plenty of sunbeds and seats to go round), you could almost jump from the porch to the pool, it's that close! In terms of extras the sofa in the lounge area can be folded out as a bed (we didn't need to use it though), there is wireless internet access, a grill on the porch, a little bar area in the cupboard under the stairs and free tennis at the courts next door (although we didn't use this so can't comment on the arrangements round it). It's a 5 minute walk to the Shipyard beach, which is lovely and has plenty of space at low and high tide, and you can use the Sonesta Resort bar just behind the beach to get drinks and snacks. We walked/cycled along the beach a couple of times, from Shipyard to Coligny, and it was pretty special, especially in the moonlight.
A final word on the rental agents - Sea Turtle Getaways. We found them really easy and friendly to deal with, and although we arrived late on a Sunday night it was no problem to pick up the welcome pack (keys, Shipyard permit etc) from their office, which is pretty close to the plantation.
If all this sounds too positive - well it's only because I can't think of any negatives to say! We had a really lovely holiday here - to walk in after 3 flights and 22 hours of travelling from the UK instantly knowing that you've made the right choice and that you're going to have a great time was wonderful. We'll being going back to HHI, and we'll definitely be staying in Tennismaster 203.
