Our stay at the Shelter Cove Villa was so wonderful, I felt I had to write about my stay there last May. This villa was spacious enough to easily accommodated all 7 of us comfortably as well as our dog, Zeke. Our grandkids enjoyed the pool, the beach, a dolphin cruise and a playground, all within walking distance of the villa. For our dog, there was a trail around the villa complex so we were able to walk him often. We were pleasantly surprised at how many other dogs we met; it's a very dog-friendly area.
The boardwalk was clean and easy to navigate with many restaurants and shops close by. We especially enjoyed the music playing outside the restaurants. Our grandchildren enjoyed the Shannon Tanner show, a show geared for children where they can dance and sing. We biked every day on the bike paths, and the free shuttle going to and from the beach made getting there a breeze.
I am a passionate bridge player and much to my delight, there was a bridge center less than a mile away. They were very welcoming to first-time guests and had someone on hand to greet me and matched me up with a perfect partner. It was a very friendly group and I met many wonderful people, some of whom I've stayed in contact with and will meet at future bridge venues.
I very much look forward to returning again soon.
