Proximity to beach was very nice and the deck is a nice size. The beds were also very comfortable and the extra bedroom upstairs with its own bath was nice for our guests. The unit size is nice except for the kitchen. It is very small and tightly arranged with minimal cookware. As with most units we have rented, the cleaning crews are not very thorough. Kitchen stove drip pans need to be replaced (yucky!). There is no way to close off the washer and dryer. The kitchen appliances need updating. Missing shelf holder in refrigerator door and second one comes off when keeping something in the space on left side. Dishwasher is not anchored and falls forward when bottom rack is pulled out.Bathrooms also need updating. Master bath counter tops are very low and faucet handle on right side sink is hard to turn. Living room furniture could use a cleaning. Needs new mophead for mop.

Hi Janice, This villa has just been sold and the new owner has not had an opportunity to get into the villa to do any new upgrades since it has been occupied 100%. My family came for a short visit at the end of the summer and we all loved it. This unit is spacious with lots of windows to provide natural light. The rental and checkout processes were extremely easy. Bikes would have been icing on the cake for us, but we were close enough to the beach that it wasn't a real issue to walk.
Pros: The kitchen was well stocked with gadgets for just about everything you may do.
Mornings were rainy during our trip, so every room having a tv and dvd player was great.
Cons:
The kitchen layout was a little cramped when multiple people tried to get around. The living room furniture was a bit "lived in" and could use a steam cleaning. Also, for our purposes (two boys and two girls), we wished that the king and queen beds were swapped.

My family enjoyed the condo: well equipped and the extra bed in one bedroom was perfect for our family of 7.
The location is great: in Shipyard and not too far from beach. Pool was great with some shade trees on shallow end.
