Villa was clean. However being on the 3rd floor meant hearing footsteps at all hours. We also could hear the water running through the pipes when the toilet or shower was running in the villa next store.

Love Villamire Complex--Have stayed in 4 different units and all have been great. The wide clean beach and pool area are the best, the General Store is a hit with the kids, golf, tennis and resturants and the beautiful grounds add to the qualities of the complex. Palmetto Dunes is centrally located on the island which makes for quick and easy access to all the island.

We have been coming to Hilton Head Island for 25 years and plan to return for many years to come! We have stayed in alot of places on the island but our favorite spot has always been Palmetto Dunes/Villamare. Our experience with Island Getaway was a good one from the beginning. The staff was always friendly and made us feel welcome the day we checked in! Thanks to everyone for making our stay a pleasant one!

We had a great time. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The beach was a short walk and the pool area and grounds where clean and well kept. We will be back again.

We had a wonderful time the only problem we had was finding the rental office (which was closed)when we arrived around 5:30 and then following the map to find the condo. The weather was fantastic and we had a great time. The condo had everything we needed, was clean and in a perfect location. We rented bikes which we used as our main transportation instead of the car (great exercise).

This vacation rental was beautiful. It was within walking distance to the beach in a gorgeous setting. We had a wonderful time and am looking forward to staying here again.

This home had a major problem in that the doors to the master bedroom are clear glass and open into the family/kitchen/eating area. The bathtub was in the middle of the master bedroom. There was absolutely NO privacy to the master bedroom. You had to go into the small toilet/shower area in order not to be seen by anyone in the family/eating area. Totally inappropriate for family vacation. If the doors were changed to solid wood or even some curtains provided, this would be a nice rental unit.
