5403 Hampton Place was very nice. Palmetto Dunes is a beautiful resort and this unit in Hampton Place was spotless and had everything we needed for a great Labor Day stay! Spotlessly clean, nice furniture, awesome kitchen...wouldn't change a thing!

This was a very nice unit. It appears to have been recently updated which was a plus, as some of the other units we have stayed in are beginning to show their age. The kitchen was especially nice!
The only real complaint that I had was that there was an awful smell in the smaller bedroom. It smelled like the spice cumin or "B.O."! I suspect that it might be from old water damage or something. I bought a bottle of Fabreeze and an solid air freshener which helped "mask" the smell and make it tolerable for my kids to sleep in there.
The only other suggestion I would have for this unit is to put a larger tv in the Master bedroom. The TV in that room was really small for that size space. It looked like a small computer screen.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! -

The condo was the best we have ever stayed in. Clean and up to date with all the comforts. Very easy getting to the beach. Our one complaint were the mattresses. Not very comfortable considering we were there to relax. We would rent this unit again!

The only thing I could fault this room on was the view. I really would have preferred more of an ocean view than a look at the trees. However, the facility was updated and that was one of the prime reasons this room was chosen over others. My first choice is for update rooms and second choice is for rooms with a view.

This property was very nicely furnished, clean, and well appointed. We especially enjoyed the location since the balcony was shielded from the swimming pool and therefore was very quiet. Since it was on the fourth floor of a five story building we had a nice view of the ocean. Beach access was extremely convenient and parking was under cover. We enjoyed this property so much that we rented it again the following weekend.

This unit was extremely relaxing. The bedrooms were on opposite sides so everyone felt they had their own space. It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We have vacationed at Hilton Head for over twenty years, and Palmetto Dunes is my favorite area to stay. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone.

We first vacationed at Sea Pines on HHI in the 1990's as it was recommended by a friend. We liked HHI very much and was referred to Island Getaways by another friend. We rented 5403 Hampton Place in 2005 based upon the web-site. We were excitted to find this condo nicer than the web-site demonstrated. We spent a week right on the beach and around the pool. We enjoyed our stay so much we rented the very same condo again in July of 2007. We could not have been more pleased with the location of the condo and the size and cleanliness of its interior.

Hampton Place-5403
We have been to Hilton Head over ten times, and this is the best unit that we have stayed in. Our other unit at Hampton Place was also very nice.
Hampton Place is convenient to many restaurants, movies, shopping,and other things to do. The beach location is one of the best on HHI, if not the best.
