  Dear Friends at Island Getaway:
  
  We have been staying in your properties for over a decade.There were several maintenance issues in Hampton 5506 were lacking, particularly in comparison to what we have found in every other unit we have rented from you.
  · The cookware and kitchenware in this unit is insufficient and in many cases in need of replacement.
  
  o There are not enough dinner plates, and most of the bowls have cracks and chips.
  
  o Not not enough serving bowls; one has a large crack making it dangerously unusable.
  
  o Metal cooking and serving utensils, a large amount of the flatware, and all of the steak knives have large patches of rust.
  
  o Rubber/plastic utensils are melted to the point of being unusable.
  
  · Ice dispenser did not work the duration of our stay;reported this on the first day of our visit.
  
  · The shower head in the second bathroom clogged to the point that water comes out in a very narrow stream to one side. So
  bad that even rinsing shampoo out of hair is a challenge.
  
  · · The unit is advertised as having internet access; this is technically true, does not have wireless and the modem with Ethernet cable is in master bedroom on the dresser (and the Ethernet cable is only about four feet long). Only way to use the internet is to stand at the dresser in the master bedroom. The
  modem should be at a desk in a common area of the unit.
  
  · The legs on the ironing board are bent such that the only way to use it is to kneel or to bend over at a ninety degree angle. The plate on the iron is damaged to the point that a metal residue comes off on whatever garment is being ironed.

  The condo was lovely. HOwever the cleaning crew just did not clean the kitchen floors very well and some of the dishes were not clean.
  
  also the ice maker made ice, but the delivery on the door did not work.

  We have been staying at Palmetto Dunes for over 20 years, and this was one of the best we have rented. Great location, well furnished and well maintained. We plan to rent this unit again.

  I LOVE HILTON HEAD ISLAND, HAVING OWNED A VILLA IN THE PAST. I ENJOY BOTH GOLF AND THE BEACH AND WHILE WALKING THE BEACH NOTICED THE BEACH FRONT BUILDING MANY TIMES. IN MY MIND I DECIDED IF I CAME BACK TO HILTON HEAD I WOULD STAY IN ONE OF THE UNITS.
  
  THE APPARTMENT I RENTED WAS EVERYTHING I EXPECTED. THE ROOMS WERE SPACIOUS, FURNISHED IN GOOD TASTE AND THE VIEW LOOKING OVER THE OCEAN WAS SPECTACULAR. I WILL CERTAINLY COME BACK AGAIN.

  I'm Lovin It !!

  We have fallen in love with Hilton Head. An our stay at Hampton Place was the ice cream on the cake. Very clean (both room & pool area), fully equipted and excellent view of the ocean. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a positive rental experiance. We'll be back.
