Have stayed in PD numerous times. Unit was. Dirty. Screens and shades were broken. At this time of year with so much to choose from, definitely a disappointment. What is more disappointig is the fact that I was considering different units and this one was recommended.

I absolutely love this condo! I love the decor and the master bedroom sleeps better than other HP units I have stayed in the past. The upgraded blinds are very effective at blocking light, allowing us to uncharacteristically sleep in! My only disappointment was with the cleanliness of the unit. The floors were vacuumed, but did not appear to be mopped (or were mopped with dirty water!) The balcony had not been serviced at all and there were items (a cigar butt and melted ice cream sandwich) that provided proof.

It is a lovely decorated unit with a beautiful view of the ocean. The beds were comfortable and the unit was nicely laid out. We had some plumbing issues. My child was scalded by the malfunctioning hot water in the shower and then the water heater started dumping stinking water. The rental company responded with repair people the next day - but the stinking water never went away.

The condo was beautiful, well appointed and so convenient to the beach. You can hear the surf from the condo with the sliding door open. Great ocean view! Very clean and well maintained. We will be back. wjm

We weren't told that the assoc. itself was doing a huge construction project that took 21/2 weeks of our 3 week stay.
Constant noise of machinery cement trucks
and workers from 8-4 daily.They were building a new workout facility and totally relandscaping the pool area.I'm sure it will be beautiful by spring
Wasn't very relaxing.Rental agent should be aware of this and tell renters in advance.
They were shocked when I told them -

We spent the last week of October in this wonderful condo. The view from the Balcony was awesome. Spent a lot of time sitting out there reading. The condo itself was great. A few minor things- broken door on TV unit, some bubble wrap left on the floor??? - dirty furnace vent etc. Had to have the rental compnay come into fix a ceiling light fixture because it kept blowing the switch - turned out someone put a 100 watt bulb in a 60 watt fixture and fried it - had to be replaced. These are minor and on the whole we were very pleased. The rental company came quickly to fix the light and they were pleasent to deal with.
I loved the decor and colors of the condo. Everything we needed was there. Short walk from unit to the beach and pool area. Biking trails were great.
We would return here in a heart beat. -

The first thing we both said when we walked in the door was "WOW", this is beautiful! It was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped, plus a washer/dryer. The view of the ocean was fantastic and when we weren't enjoying the view, it was only a short walk right to the beach. The swimming pools and the grounds were clean and well maintained and we really liked the lap pool for the adults. This is the first time we have been to Hilton Head Island and we wouldn't hesitate to come back to this home.

6406 Hampton Place is a wonderful relaxing place to spend a vacation. Wether it is just for a few days or a couple weeks as we did last time and hope to do again soon.
The condo is beautifully decorated with lots of attention to detail and very well maintained. -

6406 Hampton Place is beautiful. I've been staying on Palmetto Dunes since 1988, both in houses and condos and this is one of the best!The furniture and accessories are impecciable. The overall feel of this unit is warm and very inviting. You feel your are in your home, not just a condo unit for vacation. Everything worked; great tv, dvd and even nice radios. As Arnold would say, I'll be Back.
