This was our first visit to HHI. We really liked the Port Royal location and the fabulous bike paths. The second-floor condo has two large bedrooms and two baths. The queen beds and linens are very nice. The decor is attractive and comfortable. There are three flat-screen tvs, one in the family room and one in each bedroom. There is also Wi-Fi, practically a necessity. A galley kitchen is off of the nice dining/living room area. The condo is steps away from a small pool in the complex.
Our favorite feature was the proximity to the beautiful beach - a 1-min. bike ride or 2-min. walk. You can rent chairs and an umbrella for the week from the lifeguards on the beach, or bring your own gear. The condo is also a short bike-ride from a shopping plaza that houses a Fiesta Fresh Mexican Restaurant. The food is inexpensive and delicious - highly recommended! Other recommendations are the Bike Doctor for rentals and Live OaC watersports.
We were not crazy about the cheap small appliances and utensils in the kitchen (the toaster is not bagel-friendly), the lack of a (useable) grill, nor the funny smell in the master bath. Otherwise, the condo absolutely fit the bill for a great beach vacation.
