5th Floor - End Unit - 3 Bedroom 3 Bath Oceanfront Penthouse! Breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean! Beautifully decored in all the rooms!!! Sit on your balcony and enjoy the warm sunshine and soothing sounds of the ocean! The master bedroom is oceanfront and features a king sized bed with TV and master bathroom. Down the hall are the guest bedrooms with one featuring a queen sized bed and hallway bath and another with two twins and a private bath.

We really enjoyed our stay in Shorewood 506. The condo was beautiful. The bedrooms are all a nice size. The twin bedroom is huge. We didn't want to use the sofa bed since we didn't want to move the furniture each day so we took an inflatable bed. It fit nicely in the twin bedroom. We loved the pool and the view of the ocean was great. It was convenient to everything on the island.
The only negatives during our stay were the closet doors were difficult to open and close as they got caught on the carpet. Some of the bathroom doors didn't close all of the way due to the carpet being too high. The blinds were difficult to open and close in the family room (the mechanism was broken) and the blinds in the family room didn't lay right since they were too long for the carpet. The roof leaked one night and the fan in one of the twin bedroom was very wobbly. We called maintenance for the leak and the fan. Someone came out right away to address each issue. We were very happy with the response. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We would stay here again. It really is beautiful. The negatives were only minor inconveniences. -

I have stayed a Shorewood several times through another rental company. Shorewood is a very nice place to stay. This condo was nice, but the up keep was not what I've experienced at the other condo we have rented in the past years. The walls and ceiling were damaged due to leaks, but had not be repaired. This made the condo seem a little dirty even though it was not. We also had an issue with the pool management which I had not experienced in the past. This year they did not allow children in the big pool unless they were potty trained. This was not on the rules at the pool, nor was it stated in any other material we had. After a call to the manager and a lengthy discussion my child, who is not potty trained, but wore a little swimmer, was allowed in the pool. Overall, we all had a wonderful stay at Shorewood.

Awesome views and lovely furnishings. Cogligny Plaza is our favorite stomping grounds in Hilton Head. We could walk to the stores along the street route or use the beach. The restaurants were handy to get to and always a friendly atmosphere around. The newly refurbished pool added much pleasure to our visit. The only downer would be having to use an elevator every time we wanted to go out. Tough huh?

We stayed in unit 506 from 4/16/10-4/24/10. the condo was spacious, comfortable and clean upon our arrival. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. The views from the balcony were spectacular. The new pool is gorgeous and the Shorewood Complex is beautiful. The only thing I can recommend changing in this unit is the dryer, it's dated and it took a long time to dry clothing. Otherwise, I would stay there again and recommend this unit. My fmaily really enjoyed the stay at 506 Shorewood. The condo was clean, bright and had wonderful view. The bedrooms and baths were all nicely sized. We have stayed at Shorewood several times before and this was, by far, the best condo yet!

We stayed in 506, August 15th-23rd.. The location was very nice, close to shopping and restaurants. Steamer's was our favorite. The condo had 3 bedrooms which was nice because we were traveling with 2 adult children and their own room was important. The pool area was clean with great axcess to the beach. The kitchen provided a nice place to cook a meal or two while we were there. My favorite part about the place was a corner unit and the wonderful view!!! My least favorite about 506 was maybe alittle run down, could use a fresh paint job. Clean the carpets and the air vents. Over all our stay was nice and we will visit Hilton Head again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo, pool, and grounds was clean. The location to the pool and beach from the condo were easily accessable. Parking was no problem. The condo was equipped with all our needs and we enjoyed being able to walk to Coligny Square for shopping and eating. However, the best feature of this condo was the view from the balcony. It was breathtaking!

We stayed at Shorewood 506 the week of 6/6/09 and absolutely loved it. We have stayed in many mountain and ocean front condos and this one was as nice as it gets. The unit was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. The fact it is right on the ocean enhanced the experience.
The only aspect we did not like was the deck furniture. The bar type stools and table were fine for sitting outside having lunch or breakfast yet not comfortable for simply relaxing, having a glass of wine or cup of coffee and enjoying the view and each other's company. We are delighted that this guest had a wonderful stay at 506 Shorewood. We get nothing but great reviews on this villa.
I understand the concern regarding the deck furniture and it just goes to show that we all have different finger prints! The owners replaced the former deck furniture with the current and expensive "bar" height furniture, so that guests could relax on the balcony/deck with an obstructed view of the ocean. More conventional deck furniture sits lower and views are obstructed by the wrought iron railings.

The villa/condo was beautiful. We loved the fact that the ocean was right off the balcony and even though we did not get to sit there much do to the rain we still enjoyed our stay. We made the most of it. Everyone was very friendly and the place was very clean. We would recomend it to our family and friends and will stay there again if we go back to Hilton Head. We rented bikes for the week from Pedals and even though it rained almost everyday, we were hardly ever inside.

We found the Goode rental property on-line in search of a rental condo for our honeymoon. After viewing tons of photos on-line, we called Goode on one of the listed properties. In conversation with the rep, she directed us to this great OCEANFRONT unit. Fabulous views, great space and the condo complex was peaceful with a fabulous pool & hot tub. The condo unit and large balcony were perfect--as it looked straight out to the ocean. Not an angled building and no obstructions to the oceanview. The master bedroom faced the ocean, too! Every morning was beautiful with waking up to the waves hitting the shore. The unit was very clean and updated t/o. All 3 baths were updated and the updated kitchen was fully outfitted with all the utensils and serving items you'd need for vacation. Plus, the wsher and dryer were a great convenience. The elevator was always there for us and parking never an issue. We would definitely return to this unit again!

My extended family and I had a great stay at 506 Shorewood over our Spring Break 2009! I was like a home away from home. We were disappointed that the condo wasn't clean upon our arrival - but after a call to the office and some time for the crew to do the job, we were satisfied. Throughout the week, we'd sit on the balcony and enjoy the warmth and beauty of the Hilton Head Island shoreline. We'd play cards at night at the huge family sized dining table. The kids ate at the bar at breakfast and lunch. We appreciated the condo laundry. We do think they should have provided 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom as we did buy 1 roll to finish the week. We would recommend and will come again.

The view was, indeed, breathtaking but there were 23 floral arrangements all of which were covered with dust and with few exceptions should have been discarded. The livingroom furniture was not particularly clean and was uncomfortable which is a problem when renting long term. With a few changes, this could be an exceptional rental.

Long term monthly rentals start in October following the spring/summer vacation season. The rates are exceptionally inexpensive in part due to the winter season and in part because the annual deep cleans are not performed until after their departure. Brian Goode

We enjoyed the 506 Shorewood experience as we have several other times in different units in the complex. Our only issue was the living area furniture. The sofa and loveseat were in need of cleaning and, in all my 40 some weekly rentals I've had visiting Hilton Head, the most uncomfortable of all.

Great location and views to the ocean. My wife and two kids (5/2) had a great time on this ocean front condo. We were close to everything in the Island. Celebrated my daughter's B'day with sushi dinner 5 minutes away. Went to Salty Dog 3 times. Hung out on the beach every morning. Rode bikes in the afternoon on the beach. Very relaxing family vacation with excellent accomodations. I would recommend this condo to anyone considering a family vacation at HHI.

Our family has stayed in this unit several times. It is perfect for us. Beautifully decorated but vey comfortable. The layout - master bedroom away from other bedrooms works out great for the kids. The location at Forest Beach is ideal for the things we enjoy doing. We rent early every year so can get this unit!
