We always enjoy coming to Mainsail. This time, we weren't able to get a higher floor, but still enjoyed the view out our window to the harbor. The rental company provided us with everything we needed and we will definitely come back.

We have stayed in Mainsail 203 3 or 4 times and each time has been a very nice experience. The villa is nice and clean and comfortable. We hope to be able to stay there again in the future.

I really enjoyed my stay at 203 Mainsail. I was there for 3 weeks and had a family member join me for a few days. The view was great and the convenience to the harbour restaurants was a plus. I began to feel like this was my home. I spent a lot of time on the screened in balcony. The furnishings were very comfortable and pretty. The bathrooms were beautiful. I liked the way the owners did not personalize the condo so you did not feel you were in someone elses home. The pool was very pretty as well and the whole complex was very well kept. My only suggestions would be to include a hair dryer in the unit, and install some blinds or more draperies in the guest bedroom. My guest was uncomfortable a little because the draperies did not fully cover the windows. The master bedroom end tables are starting to show some wear and tear but the bed was nice and very comfortable. If you are technology challenged you may have trouble with the tvs. I had to call the service company 2x and have them walk me through how to get back to the channels. Goode Vacation Co. was great. They allowed me to view the unit before I committed and when I said I would take it starting the next day but there were a few spots on the carpet they had it cleaned before I arrived. I would definitely stay there again and only use Goode Vacations especially since I had not used them initially and when I first arrived on HHI I had a problem with another company and someone was still in the unit I had rented from them. You can rely on Goode Vacations. Everyone in the office was pleasant and they seem to care about their properties.

Pro's:Overall it was a good experience. Great location, great weather. Close to many good restaurants, golf courses, stores etc.
Con's: poor mattresses (very soft); 3 small televisions; poor lighting in the main living area. -

replaced- like a broken counter stool, but honestly

This was our second stay in this unit. We really love it! Would recommend this complex and unit to our friends.
We were only disappointed with a couple of things. The furniture was a little dusty in the living room and the ironing board cover was falling apart.
Overall we had a great time and will probably book again next year! -

Mainsail was a great place to stay. The view out of the living room was
awesome. We had so much fun watching all of the activity on the marina. We
even got to watch a few dolphins. It was nice to be close to the restaurants
and shops, etc. We really missed being right on the beach. We did drive to
the beach several times and got a parking spot each time in Palmetto
Dunes.
The pool at the Mainsail was very nice and was kid friendly and was never
crowded at all.
The unit itself was in great shape. Beds were comfortable, had all of the
basic kitchen necessities, furniture was in very good condition, and the unit
was spacious.
The only constructive criticism that I have for the owner is to have the
carpet shampooed a little more often. Every time we walked on the carpet
our feet were black and there was quite a few spots on the carpet. The
cleaning company must have cleaned the floor with a dirty bucket of water
because the floor was dirty too, but was fine after I mopped it with the mop
that was in the unit. In the second bedroom the drapes only cover 2/3 of
the window/ It would have been nice if they covered the all of the windows
so light would not have come in in the am. A bigger TV would also have
been nice in the living room. Other than those small things, the place was
great and the price was great!

Thanks for the advisory on the carpet/floors! Wish the guest would have told us right away so that we could have shampooed/cleaned while they were out. However, we have shampooed/mopped and we've given housekeeping a stern warning. It will not happen again or else! Brian Goode

This is the second year we have stayed at the Mainsail Condo in Shelter Cove in Hilton Head. This year we are staying for 6 weeks. Goode rentals was recommended to us by an acquaintance. The condo is in an excellent location and is well maintained. The view is in a marina with lots of action to see.
There is a beautiful beach a short ride away as well as many restaurants that Hilton Head offers.
The condo itself is beautiful. It is a 2 bedroom villa with a king bed in one bedroom and 2 queen beds in the other. There is a washer and dryer but they could use more towels and dish towels.
Shelter Cove has a lots to offer with numerous shops and restaurants. It is centrally located on the island. Whether it be walking, biking, boating, kayaking, or just plain viewing others partake in water activities, there is something for everyone.
We hope to return again.

I spent four weeks in this condo and thoroughly enjoyed it. It looks out over Shelter Cove harbor and the view was great. It is very conveniently located to shops, restaurants, etc. There are wonderful walking and bicycle paths and the neighborhood is quiet. There were some items in the condo that needed to be replaced ie. floor mop, bed pillows, but nothing major. I would highly recommend Main Sail to anyone. I plan on returning next winter myself to the same condo.
