As we arrived it wasnt what we were expecting but we quickly forgot about that, the owner couldnt do enough for you and the property was decorated to such high standards where nothing was too much trouble.
The surrounding areas were fantastic and would definitely advise on staying in this property.

The lodge was very nice, clean and a very good size. We had a fab holiday with our family. The local pub food was good. The owner was very helpful. Our granddaughters thoroughly enjoyed visiting the animals and collecting eggs and didn't want to go home. The area is fabulous to see especially Runswick Bay. The cliff top walks were very scenic. The shopping in Whitby is excellent. We would love to live here.

Easy on-line booking service. the property itself was beautiful. all mod cons and furnished to an extremely high standard.on a working farm, which wasn't noisy and all the eggs we could eat. a great base for exploring Yorkshire with a couple of pubs and a bistro within walking distance. I'd recommend it to anyone and the only downside was that we couldn't stay longer. will definitely be booking again!!
