We stayed in March with our 2 year old little boy. The house is fantastic and comfortable, definitely the best we have stayed in. The garden is great and very safe for children or dogs. The chickens next door were a big hit with our little one!
It is well located, and even though the weather wasn't the best, we still managed to have a great week. Local pubs are very friendly and serve very good food.
We wouldn't hesitate to return and have recommended to family.

We were greeted by the owner who introduced the facilities within the cottage and also left us a welcome tray, pint of milk, 6 eggs and a bouquet of flowers. This certainly made us feel valued and wanted. The owners also gave us permission to use their large field opposite the cottage to exercise our dog which was greatly appreciated by our Great Dane/Foxhound cross.
The property was very comfortable with all the amenities on hand we needed for a relaxing break away. We found it easy to get to places of interest and managed to get out somewhere new every day. We perused the booklets detailing local attractions within the cottage to help us decide where to go.
We have told our many friends about the cottage detailing how much we liked it so we are hopeful our personal recommendation will bring even more customers to this brilliant little holiday cottage. Highly recommended.

This cottage was brilliant. There was averything you needed, to live there ner mind on holiday, centrally heated, double glazed, fully fitted kitchen and utensils.
Very clean, not cluttered and there were some eggs, tea and milk on our arrival.
The garden is secure for anyone with children or pets.
The owners live in the farmhouse behind the cottage and were very friendly.
There is a pub 2 minutes walk down the road where you can get excellent food.

We had a great weeks break in Ivy Cottage. The accommodation was clean, warm and comfortable. The secure garden around the cottage was perfect for our dogs, and they enjoyed watching the chickens through the fence. The owners also allowed us to exercise the dogs in their field opposite. The location of the cottage was perfect for us, tucked away but not isolated. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We had some good days out visiting local places and taking the dogs on lovely walks. Just the place to go for a relaxing break in wonderful countryside. The week went by far too quickly.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely village, walking distance from a very friendly local pub. Plenty of space to exercise our dogs in the owners field. Cottage was beautifully decorated and well equipped with a pretty enclosed garden. Owner was nearby and very helpful and friendly. We stopped over the Christmas period and it was the perfect retreat for a family christmas.
