Gavin On The Beach is located on the beach in Hollywood, Florida USA. We currently have three (3) studio apartments that are available by the day (3 day minimum) the week, or the month.
Two of our studio apartments are located on the ground floor with patio access to the pool area. One has a king size bed; the other has a queen size bed. Both have full kitchens (stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster and coffee maker). One has a bathtub with shower; the other has a walk in shower.

It didn't occur to me initially to look for a vacation home instead of a hotel/motel. A bunch of 50 year olds have a reunion in Miami and we all choose the most busy week of Spring Break.
Finding a hotel was a nightmare, not to mention the gouging by the hotels and motels. A rotten hotel was double what I paid for the vacation rental here.
The owners are here on the premises if you need them but they are not overattentive being that they are on the premises. This is an older motel that were changed to condos and then to rentals. It's a fair sized one room efficiency with a full kitchen and a plethora of kitchen utensils. I did cook here and it was more than adequate.
We were lucky to have great weather. Did I mention this location is 100 feet from the beach? Location Location Location. There's a pool in the backyard 8 feet from the patio door and if you want the beach, it's right there in your face. It's on the quiet end of the Broadwalk so the nights are quiet and the area to me appears safe.
For the money paid, this was a steal. The property is well kept. It's not fancy, it's not a 4 star hotel but at half the 2 star price it was a sanctuary from all the gougers out there trying to sell passable hotel property for big money.
Gavin On the Beach is a keeper, and we will be back. Many thanks to Robert and Dale for providing us a place for our 8 day stay. -

My husband and I spent two nights @ Gavin on the Beach. Robert, the owner, met us upon arrival, reviewed where everything was in the studio apartment, as well as area literature. Although property is a converted older motel, all necessary amenities were available & clean, including a crystal clear pool outside our back patio door & free in-room wi-fi laptop. Would recommend this property for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

We stayed for a week in February and loved everything about it. It is the perfect size for 2 people and we loved how close it was to the beach. Robert was great to work with and lives on property to accommodate any need you may have. We didn't need anything because everything was already provided. We so thoroughly enjoyed our week there that we've already booked for next year.

This place was wonderful. Although it was not new, it was clean, cared for and very cozy. Robert was very accommodating and pleasant. He picked me and my mother up from the airport and delivered us right to the door. From that point on we were treated as his personl guest. When my mom feel and broke a tooth and loosened three, he took us to the grocery store to purchase soft foods for her to eat. Dale sat in the dentist office with us for 2 hours while my mom saw the dentist. She is doing well. Ths happened on the braodwalk, not on the rental property. I am looking forward to staying with them again. The area is quiet, peaceful and clean. The people on the broadwalk are all very kind. Bikes are available many places for renting.

My stay here was fantastic! I had everything I needed for a home away from home and even more! I was 30 seconds from the beach and the walking path...plus it's close to many towns and the highway as needed for business. It's off the beaten path - quiet and serene - yet easy to get there when I needed too.
The bed is comfy, the TV works fine, the kitchen is complete to take care of all my needs and the hosts are very nice and accommodating. Whenever I needed something they were always readily available to assist.
I highly recommend.

I stayed here with two friends and all three of us slept comfortably there for five nights. It was really convenient having a full-size kitchen and fridge, so we did plenty of cooking. Then, every night we walked along the Hollywood brick path and enjoyed the sunset. The location was also great because we were a short distance from Miami, without the hustle and bustle. One more thing: the owners are awesome, genuinely caring guys!
