We were in a L.A. for a business trip and this apartment was just perfect. Debra the owner was very communicative and tried to fix all the issues we encounter. The place is very cozy and quite, not so easy to find the first time since it is off a little alley. Unfortunately we were never able to connect to the internet and that was a problem since we were on a business trip. However Debra try anything possible to fix the problem. You get a parking garage with this property that is a extremely advantageous considering the crowed area and the hills. For 3 nights we didn't have the garage (we agreed upon before booking) and it was difficult to find a parking spot on the streets. We will definitely stay here again once we travel to L.A.
Highly recommended! The only reason why I didn't give a 5 star rating was because of the internet problem. Other than that, this place was exactly what we needed. -

If you're looking for an affordable and comfortable base from which to enjoy La, you won't do much better than this nook in the Hollywood Hills. It's such a tranquil little spot, you almost forget you're in the heart of one of the planet's biggest cities.
It's small but perfectly comfortable. It's fully equipped and even has great free wifi. It's clean and cosy and the views are pretty great. The bed was a little soft for our tastes, and the getting off Highland ave and into Camrose could be a bit hairy during rush hour, but those are small niggles. In general, a really great place to stay at a really reasonable price. -

This is the perfect spot if you want to hang out on Hollywood Blvd. It's a short walk from this Hollywood Hills guest house, which is also quite close to the Hollywood Bowl. A covered parking spot is free, as long as you can fit in the tiny garage! You can check out how much they charge for parking in some of the fancy hotels and do the math! You're saving money right off the bat.
The accomodations are solid. Nice comfy bed, couch, fully-equiped kitchen, etc. Everything you need.
The view from this place is absolutely killer. Total privacy too, as there is plenty of nice foliage around. The wife and I spent late mornings / early afternoons hanging out on the deck and sipping wine we bought at Trader Joes.
The only reasons I cannot give it five stars are:
-- The maid forgot to stock toilet paper in the bathrooms, so we had to go out and buy some.
-- Due to the location, there are rather steep steps, and it's definitely not wheelchair accessible. But hey, that's being nitty (unless you can't get up the stairs). -

My family stayed here in March 2011. The location could not be beat. We could easily walk to the main stretch of Hollywood Blvd (Kodak Centre, Grauman's Chinese Theatre). Practically next to the Theatre is a great grocery store where we bought all of our provisions.
The apartment has an amazing view with a very large balcony. If the weather had been better we would have stayed outside most of the time. However, the time we spent inside was very pleasant. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a TV with satellite in the living room. The unit has it's own covered parking stall around the corner which was very convenient considering that on street parking is scare in the area.
The owner of the unit, Debra, was very helpful and helped us out a number of times.
Overall, the apartment offered very good value for the money and we would not hesitate to stay here again. -

If you are coming to Hollywood i can assure you that you will not find any better apartment or hotel than this beautiful place to stay.
This is the 3rd christmas and the 16th week we have stayed here - it is truly home from home. I cannot say enough about not only what a fantastic apartment this is but also what a lovely person, debra the owner is.
So if your looking for somewhere to spend a fantastic vacation in what i believe is the nicest place to stay in hollywood (and believe me when i say it is after coming here for 12 years and staying in quite alot of the hotels in hollywood before), i would never stay anywhere else again simply because you will not find better!
So if your looking at this apartment and wondering, book it, believe me you will be glad you did!
So once again thankyou debra for making our 3rd christmas with you again more than special! -

This rental was an amazing find, we could not believe how central this property was, a short walking distance down to the centre of Hollywood, and the views from the balcony were great. We would certainly recommend this rental, we look forward to our next visit.

We stayed here in September 2009.
We absolutely loved every minute of our stay. The apartment is cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped (we had a friend over for dinner) and the balcony is great for morning or evening lounging. If you calculate what this place costs against ANY LA hotel room you get so much more with this apartment. The parking and Internet being included really make it a huge bargain. The location is great for getting around all of LA and even walkable down to Hollywood Blvd if you choose to do so. And the view is lovely.
I could go on but what I will say to end is YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
All of that and the owner, Debra is kind and courteous and a total pleasure!
We will stay here again next time we are in LA.

I do a LOT of travel and come to LA often and this is my new favorite place.
Like the other reviewers stated, it's clean and well-appointed with an amazing
deck and view. The location is very central and the view really could be Italian.
Also, the owner couldn't have been nicer. -

WHAT CAN WE SAY?
"WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PLACE!"
We spent our last Christmas vacation here, we spent a whole 5 weeks in this gorgeous apartment. It is everything it says it is and more, until you actually see this property and stay in it only then will you realize that the website does it NO justice at all !!
We visit Los Angeles maybe 2/3 times a year and we have been coming here for the last 9/10 years, always staying in hotels, until this time we were finally brave enough to book an apartment, this is not only the best decision we have ever made, but the best vacation and christmas we have EVER had by far, needless to say we will always stay here from now on - and there will be NO more hotels!!!!
The apartment was everything you could ever want and wish for and has everything you could ever need.
The location absolutely perfect (you could not of picked it up and placed it anywhere better) - just to sit on the patio and take in the spectacular and breath-taking views, complete privacy and peaceful surroundings will stay in our minds forever - or at least until the next time, as we have booked to stay here again for 5 weeks this christmas and to be honest we cant wait!!!!
We cannot say enough about this property only that it is the perfect experience away from home and we truly mean that, so if you were like me-thinking shall i book this-believe me youll be so glad you did! The ONLY bad experience we had "was having to pack up and leave after such a WONDERFUL 5 weeks!
Finally i want to finish by saying what a lovely lady Debra is, not only a true professional who made sure everything was 100% for us and our stay, but she was the finishing touch to a perfect vacation!

I don't usually take time to write reviews, but this guest apartment so exceeded my expectations that I feel compelled to do so. It is gorgeous, clean, well-maintained, nicely situated...and the view! I could spend hours sitting on the deck watching the city lights in the distance and listening to the fountain below. And the owner could not have been more accomodating. I will definitely be back!

I can honestly say that I feel a sense of obligation to write this review. What a
wonderful little apartment. We were able to cook, enjoy gorgeous evenings on
the balcony overlooking Hollywood, and even walked to a concert at the
Hollywood Bowl... only a 15 minute walk! My only compliant is that we
couldn't stay longer.
