Gulfsands Condo #105 is a beautifully furnished two bedroom, two bath gulf front condo. This unit offers full, unobstructed views of the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Gulfsands has a large heated pool and a spacious pool area with both open and covered sitting areas. It now has an elevator as well. It's located next to the Manatee County Public Beach for a quick lunch at the Cafe on the Beach. There is a lifeguard protected beach and playground for the children. We liked the view of the beach from our own private balcony. We sat on the balcony and drank our coffee every morning. Watched sunsets at night.Would definitely stay in this unit again. Thanks to the owner.

The condo was first rate,the pool area quiet and clean. The room was very clean the beds where very comfortable, the air conditioner would freeze you out,the view from our balcony was Excelent. We had 2 condo and our whole family there for a wedding.The whole experience was excellent. Can't wait to go back.
Susan with island vacation properties was very helpful with all our questions and needs.

This was a great location and facility. The place we originally rented was dark and musty and was unacceptable. The staff at the office were very accomodating and quickly made arrangements to move to this excellent facility. Thanks for all your help. We attempted to rent for a month in the winter but the price was a little out of our range. We will definately consider again for an off-season rental.

We enjoyed our stay in Gulf Sands 105 for several reasons. First of all, the condo was cozy, and the king-sized master bed was comfortable. The kitchen had nice dishes and there were lots of pots and pans. Next, the condo had a beautiful beach which was also right next to the public beach, and the heated pool on the property was like bath water. Finally, if you like to walk, it was a short distance to restaurants and shopping. We would like to stay at this property again.

We would not rent this condo again. There are other condos in the building for the same price that have been totally renovated. This condo needs updating, and renovation. Large area rugs need to be placed on the floors. The floors were very cold during the recent cold snap in FL. There are definite positives about the location of the building, the nice swimming pool, restaurant nearby, and playground for children.

The property is very dirty and required us to clean it when we arrived. It is also in serious need of updates and repairs- for example-the refrigerator is rusted on the outside, molding is falling off and the ceiling fans are about to fall down. I have rented several properties on the island and this is by far the worse we have ever stayed in. I realize the owner is old but I believe Island vacation Properties should advise potential renters of this properties condition- Had I know we would not have rented it. However there are no excuses for cleanliness. Vic Shepherd

Thank you for taking time to comment on your stay. There were some valid complaints at this unit. After recieving your comments, we spent two days attending to details including : general cleaning, linen update, and minor tweeking. The refrigerator had some small areas of rust on the side which have been addressed and looks good. The comforters were worn and lacking color and were replaced. The ceiling fans were checked and were not an issue and are safe & anchored securely. This property is a direct gulf view & has had many happy and satisfied guests. We hope you will revisit Gulf Sands 105 again and enjoy this wonderful island getaway. Island Vacation Properties
