When rented Casnetters from March 30 to apr 6. Unit looked better in person than pictures on website, but it's dated. Located directly across from public beach which was nice, but very busy. Lots of traffic and noisy. Great location for teens because they can walk to the beach where there are lots of kids. I would've been more concerned if we had little kids. As far as the accomdations, we flew and therefore didn't have room for a lot of extras. They duplex only had one beach towel, which was in rough shape. Also, there was no iron or ironing board. Kitchen was pretty much stocked, but nothing special. Nice big tv which was good because we were there during the Ncaa games with two sports fans. Overall it was a good place to stay if you aren't looking for anything too fancy and are ok with simple.

The place was nice enough and right across from the public beach!! The location was the best! We could walk to stores, restaurants etc... But the decor was dated. We had a couple issues than never did get resolved. The outside porch/deck light never worked (they said it wasn't the bulb). But as 2 women staying in the place - it would have been nice to be able to leave the light on for when we came back at night. The freezer made an obnoxious sound which we combatted with giving it a little smack and it would quit.. for awhile then it would start again. The fan in the bathroom did not work. And the deadbolt on the front door was tricky to work. The bedrooms do not have TVs. However the TV in the living room was very nice. For us the kitchen was adequate for what we did. It seemed to have an antequated wireless router - but I couldn't get it to keep a connection (good thing I had my own Mifi). The laundry room (while we didn't use the appliances) did have beach chairs which was sweet..

our family enjoyed our stay very much. We were on the budget and the accommodations were just right for the money we could spend.the beach is right across the street, there is a cafe on the beach serving good food. The beach is beautiful, clean, with white sand. There is Publix and CVS within a walking distance.
the only negative thing was that the outside lights weren't working despite our request to have the loights fixed. There are stairs leading to the condo and at night would be nice to have them lit.Response from Island Vacation Properties, LLC - 01/09/2013

If I had been smart and read the previous rewiews I would not have rented. Mold on eaves of the unit and in need of paint on the outside. Kitchen is something out of the 70s. Stove and dishwasher were old and functioned poorly at best. Bed was very uncomfortable. Running toilet and aints in the shower. A vacation I will remember for all the wrong reasons. Anna Maria is a wonderful place to visit I will be more selective next time!

This is the fourth year we have stayed with the Castnetter group in various condos in their group. We have had great experiences with the rentals and have found the management to be immediate in their response to our needs. The area is well maintained, the pool is clean, the condos are fully equipped, the location is convenient. We enjoy Anna Maria Island and all that Castnetter has to offer!

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Castnetter. The property and room were clean and neat they had everything you could ask for covered bbq, nice pool, wooden deck with wooden table and umbrella. They have washer and drier. They even thought of beach supplies like sand toys for the kids beach chairs,beach umbrella,wheeled basket for the beach, beach matts. The location is great beach across the street,trolly across the street,breakfast accross the street. The only thing that I didn't care for is the street is a little busy to cross if you have small kids(but then again you should be holding their hands if their small or have them in a stroller)but I'm sure thats only seasonal and at certain times of the day.We love Annamaria Island from eating breakfast on the piers to fishing on them, eating at the small mom & pop restaurants. Overall my family and I had a great stay and everybody that I have reffered their has loved it also. If you want a relaxing vacation this is the place to go!! Just not everyone at once please!!

This is the second time I have stayed in this wonderful condo. I am already making plans to go back to Anna Maria Island and definitely want to stay here again. For 3 to for people this place is great. I actually stayed by myself the last time and decided for the price difference from a hotel nearby it was well worth it.

THE ROOM WAS WHAT I EXPECTED. I WISH THERE WAS A TV IN THE BEDROOM
BUT THERE NEVER IS EVEN IN THE NICER UNITS. WE HAD FRIENDS VISIT US
WHICH TOTALED SIX OF US. THE MAID SAID THAT WAS A PROBLEM EVEN THOUGH OTHER ROOMS THE SAME SIZE ALOW SIX PEOPLE. WE WERE NOT ALLOWED IN THE POOL ON THE DAY OF CHECK OUT. ALL IN ALL YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. PUT A TV IN THE BEDROOM AND I WILL BE HAPPY. THE LOCATION IS PERFECT. we have been very pleased with island prop we have rented from them seven seperate years,only dissapointment with castnetter is the three day min stay requirement so we had to look elswhere.i would highly recommend island vac prop to friends & family.we stayed at the castnetter two different times and loved the location bieng right accross the street from the public beach.

My sister and neice came from New York and we rented the home for a week. The home was clean, lots of space, and had a great pool with a deck and grils to cook out. This location was also across from the main beach where there is shop, place to eat and a beautiful beach. Great location for anyone.
