Unit 6 was a great place for my husband and I to come down and celebrate our 5 Year anniversary! We only were able to stay for a few nights but are looking forward to returning soon! Very easy access to beach. The unit was cute with its decorations. Bathroom could eventually use a little updating on fixtures and king bed mattress was really heard but overall it was a nice place. We go for the beach so I was exactly what we were looking for.

We've stayed in several different units that Island Vacation Properties manages, we liked this one the best so far, hoping to return to it next year. It's perfect for 2 people, steps to the beach, on a very quiet location. Also walking distance to Publix, Walgreens and several other shops.
Would have liked to watch the Ncaa Basketball Championship , and the Masters on just a little bit bigger TV, but I wasn't there to just watch TV.Response from Island Vacation Properties, LLC - 04/21/2013

We were recommended anna Maria Island and ana Maria Beach house from friends and it expeeded our expectations!
From the booking of the unit until receiving the keys from Island Properties everything was easy and simple. The people at Island Vacations made every effort to help us. The rented flat was wonderful, tasteful furniture, colourful wall paintings, an overall Florida feeling. My daughter and her friend loved it from the first moment!
The kitchen was spacious and had every tool that we needed.
Pool was very well mantained and the girls loved to hang out there in the evening.
But best of all was the short walk over the dune to the wonderful beach!
Perfect sand, clear water we even saw dolphins playing only a couple of yards from the beach!
Location of the house is ideal weather you wanted to stroll to the cafe do some shopping at the supermarket or take the trolley bus, everything was only minutes away.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay and have booked already for next year!

My daughter and I stayed in Unit 6 for a week over Thanksgiving of this yr. The condo itself was so nice and cozy, well equipped, and it felt like our home even it was just a week. The view from the balcony was amazing! We enjoyed 7 perfect sunsets right from our chairs out on that balcony. Everything you needed was right there..the pool was warm, always clean, there were water toys for my daughter. The beach was a very short walk across a little dead end street and was a private beach that only had the surrounding condos guests there. We met lots of nice people from these surrounding condos and walked down to the anna Maria Beach Cafe almost every day. What an amazing vacation...I would highly recommend this condo -- we will be back!!

This was our second time staying at the anna Maria Beach Place. We love how close to the beach it is and it is in a very peaceful area. We will definately be back. We stayed in the one bedroom, but the pull out couch wasn't very comfortable. If you have more than 2 people I would recommend the 2 bedroom Unit 4 which we stayed in last time and were very comfortable.

My husband and I stayed in this unit the week of June 16-23, 2012. We enjoyed this unit very much but it did have a few minor issues. When we arrived, we discovered that the sheets appeared to be covered in a fine layer of sand and changed them immediately. I do realize that this is the beach but this was our 4th trip to the island and have never had that problem before. Also, the air conditioner was adequate for that particular week but wondered if it had been hotter if it would have really cooled the bedroom...we only used a sheet to sleep with.
Now, for the good points of the condo...It has a fabulous location! Loved sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean and enjoying breakfast every morning. The overall appearance of the unit was clean and the unit was equipped with most things that one might need to enjoy a vacation. We got a chance to meet a lot of our neighbors. It was our second time there and we love this place.
It is just next to the beach but has also a pool and that to a really good price. I havenΒ΄t found any object on the Island that has such a good price in that excellent position. It is very calm but only a few minutes to walk to Publix. We will come next year again!!

For the most part everything was great. However, having stayed at this location several times over the past 7 years, here are a few things I noticed that need to be evaluated. First of all the pool was not cleaned during the course of the holiday. In the past the pool service was there several times. This is an issue because the location was at capacity and the pool was cloudy. Also some of the lights were out. Also No. 6 was missing things that had been there in the past (i.e., towels, blender, etc.) Also, I understand this is a condo situation. However, most people leave things like foil, salt, trash bags, etc. The place was cleaned out. Not even a sponge to wash dishes. I had to basically set up everything. I know I leave things for the next guest, so I assume others do the same. Please see that the cleaning crew leave these things if they are left for the next person. Its just a beach courtesy. We have done some major renovations at the complex so all of the lights work and the bulding has a brand new paint job! We will speak with housekeeping about leaving cleaning supplies in the units.

This was my second stay in Unit 6 at anna Maria Beach Place. The first time was in July 2006, with 4 other families (20 people in total), we had an absolutely wonderful time. My daughter was pregnant with our first grandchild back home in UK at the time, so we decided to return in 2010 when our grandchild would then be 4.
By the time 2010 arrived, we had another grandchild and so all 9 of us came and stayed in units, 1, 4 & 6.
This place is absolutely wonderful in my opinion. Great comfortable accomodation. Beachy, relaxed, laid back. The unit has everything you need, and I really cant fault it at all. The outside pool area was fabulous for our family, we were only people there, so had pool, bbq etc to ourselves. We had great fun round pool and having bbq each night. Its a few steps from the best beach in the world! Also very handy for Publix supermarket, little bars and shops round corner, and a short drive to some excellent restaurants (Beach House, Sandbar).
I cant recommentd this unit highly enough and we are already planning to come again in 2013. My daughter and family stayed in unit 4 which was also very good and my son in unit 1. They had a few problems with aircon breaking, and lock on door not working, but both faults were rectified promptly by Island vacation people, who were great to deal with. Overall great place to stay. Could use new towels and a bigger television. The pool is a big plus on cooler days in winter. It is a great place to watch the sunsets.

We spent a wonderful week at Anna Maria Beach Place #6. It was a perfect one bedroom unit for two people. The furnishings were very beachy and comfortable. We were the only ones there at the time so it was very quiet and private. We had a wonderful ocean view from unit 6.

Stayed in Anna Maria Beach Place, Unit 6, from 10/10/09 to 10/17/09. 90 and sunny every day!! The unit is so bright and cheerful, and is beautfilly decorated with a great beachy cottagey decor. Great view of the gulf from the porch. Could use a new refrigerator and a dvd/cd player would be nice. Had the pool all to ourselves all week, and just a short hop across dead end street to the beautiful beach.
Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in unit 6 which is a nicely decorated,
comfortable 2nd floor unit. The view from the
balcony overlooks the pool and the beach. We had
friends staying in unit 1, who also enjoyed their
stay, although I don't think their unit was as nice
as ours. No other units were rented this week, so
we all enjoyed having the whole place to ourself.
This was especially nice since the pool is not all
that big. (But big enough for our two families.)
The building is located on a small side road that
gets virtually no vehicular traffic... Mostly just
people walking through to the beach. So this made
it safe and quiet for our stay.
The building has some beach chairs and fishing
equipment that we borrowed, as well as a gas grill.
The grill could use some cleaning, but it worked
fine. Our unit did have a few ants, but not a big
deal. You really have to expect that in Florida.
The people at Island Vacation Properties were very
nice and were very accommodating.
We had amazing weather when we were there, which
helps on a Florida vacation. Looking back, it was
one of our best vacations ever. We would
definitely recommend unit 6 at Anna Maria Beach
Place, and would consider renting it again.

The place was small but lovely. My biggest complaint was that the AC was a wall unti that was right next to the dining room table. You froze if you sat at the table and you were very hot in the bedroom. The price was a little high as well.
