The Terrace Condominium #2, located at 3100 Gulf Drive in Holmes Beach is a beautifully and comfortably furnished, two bedroom, two bath town home condo with heated pool, private garage and three separate lanais. The pool area is beautifully landscaped with native plants and features a pergola and multiple seating areas at poolside. Unit 2 features a 26β TV in the living room with a DVD player. We have stayed in this unit in the past, and returned to it because it is only a short walk to the beach and it has a great pool also. The convenience of a washer & dryer in the unit is also important to us. Wifi is a plus also. The size, location, and convenience of this unit will prompt us to be return visitors.

The unit itself was a little worn and the living room furniture wasn't overly comfortable (wicker futon for main seating), but it was clean and very well funished for towels, dishes, appliances, etc. Loved the pool, with large seating under a gazebo for non-sun worshipers. Having a private garage was also nice. One block to beach and one block to shopping. Walking distance to Manatee Beach and our favorite Cafe on the Beach. Only negative for me personally was the second story entrance and additional story to bedrooms. Just because I am not as young as I was once! Would not hesitate to stay again.

I've been using VRBO.com for many years to locate vacation properties and have never had a bad experience, until now. The unit summary on VRBO didn't mention that the two baths were on two different floors. With two couples, it's not terribly convenient to have your bedroom on one floor and your bath on another. The kitchen was poorly stocked with utensils and cookware. Glass was not allowed at the pool, however, there were no plastic drinking glasses available in the unit. We had to provide our own trash bags and laundry detergent as we were expected to wash our linens during the week. We loved the location and will return to the neighborhood, just not this property. VRBO listing also mentioned "water view" which was not the case from this unit.

I enjoyed the easy check in/check out process. The condo is neat and clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, which is important for families that need to cook meals there. The pool was situated so that you can watch the children in the pool from the deck of your condo. Nice private deck out front and the parking garage was a pleasant surprize that kept the car cool and house our bikes while there. The location was perfect for our needs and close enough to the beach so that the walk there was easy! The kitchen dining and living room area were much smaller than I expected, but the bedrooms were very roomy.

This complex of six condos is in a great location. It's on the west side
of Gulf Dr., so it's just a quick walk to the beach. It's within walking
distance to the grocery and drugstore, too. The on-site pool area was
beautifully landscaped and maintained. This part of the island is fairly
quiet except for the traffic on Gulf Drive (2 lanes), which isn't horrible.
The overall atmosphere of this island is one of quiet relaxation. There
are some restaurants and shopping, but if it's a crazy nightlife that
you are after, this isn't the place! Perfect for shelling, walking,
beaching it, and general relaxation. You must try the chocolate
covered key lime pie at Joe's Ice Cream in neighboring Bradenton
Beach. Gulf Drive Cafe was also a good spot for any meal. Unit 2 was
clean and comfortable. The only suggestions that we left were: supply
beach chairs for renters, a guest book with suggestions from previous
tenants, and sample menus of local eateries. We would definitely

The Terrace is a great place to stay and myslef,Wife and our Grandson return year after year.
It has all the facilities you could wish for and is in exellent condition and spotlessly clean.
It is a very short walk to a most fantastic beach which is never overcrowded.
We have been so often its like home from home, the only warning we would give is that once you try it you will probably want to return many times.
