Castnetter Beach Resort #6 has been a family favorite for Beach-Goers, Sun-Seekers, Boaters, Fishermen and Fun-Lovers alike since 1967. Located in the middle of beautiful Anna Maria Island and directly accross the street from the 7-Acre "Manatee Public Beach." Extensive renovations were completed in 2010, including a complete interior and exterior remodel of the property, and the installation of 10' x 30' Sun Decks and a new heated pool. New interior furnishing and designs have captured the "At-The-Beach" atmosphere while maintaining our "Flip-Flop-Friendly" style.

This was our second visit to Castnetter Beach Resort. The location to the beach is exactly what we were looking for and you could not ask for a better host and hostess than alan and Donna. They are always there for your every need.
The location is easy walking distance to grocery stores and pharmacies. We are already looking forward to our stay next year.

We stayed at Castnetter unit 6 for four nights Oct 2012. It had been quite difficult to find a condo for a short stay on aMI so we were pleased to have found this. At first sight it is just off the road that heads into aMI. However, this was not a busy/noisy road and it was easy to cross to the main Manatee Beach which was fantastic when you have children and beach equipment to lug across. It had a great Beach Cafe/shop with singer in the evening and nice sundowner cocktails, small playground and volleyball nets. If we forgot anything, we just walked 3 minutes back to the condo to fetch it!
The condo was very well equipped and comfortable and spotlessly clean. It had two small bathrooms and two televsions. Beach chairs,towels and some (old'ish) bikes were provided. There was a large furnished balcony (very small children would have to be supervised) with oblique sea views. The pool was fairly small but nicely landscaped and shared only with the condo next to it. Some pool toys, umbrellas and a bbq were provided.
All in all a great stay and we would definitely stay again as it was reasonably priced for aMI and allowed short stays. -

Stayed for a week at begining of august with husband and 21yr old daughter. We have stayed on anna Maria several times before but never in such a nice and well placed property.
We loved the fact that it was just across from the beach and you could see the sea from the gorgeous balconey.
The pool was well mainted and useful for cooling down and relaxing around after a hard day at the beach!!
Alan and Donna were brilliant hosts - helpful and friendly without being intrusive. -

My family and I stayed in Castnetter #6 for 2 weeks in June. This was honestly one of the best vacations ever. I have never felt more welcome anywhere than I did here. Donna and alan were able to tell us great places to eat,things to do,etc...they for sure know how to please a renter. My kids adored them as well and always wanted to see and hang with Donna and alan!
This was our second time on the Island and I look forward to coming again for 2 weeks in June 2013!!! I really can't say enough about aMI,Castnetter,or Donna and alan except for ~ excellent!!

What a gorgeous area! We had such a great time on aMI. The beaches are clean, the shopping is fun, and the atmoshphere is perfect! We loved staying at the condo. It had everything we needed, and our kids loved the inground pool. They even took a bike ride to watch the sunset near the pier! We were fortunate to meet alan and Donna, the owners, and their hospitality did not go unnoticed. I would not think of staying anywhere else when I return back to Paradise!

Absolutelt amazing..everything! The room, the property, the owners alan & Donna where so nice and so helpful. They let us in on the Island secrets that only the locals know and that really made our trip. The price was extreamly affordable and wish we could have stayed longer. The pool was perfect & the gas grill was clean & ready to use (which we did)! I can not wait to stay there again, in the same room #6. They had plenty of parking space for our jetski & the outside shower had hot water..how kool is that!! The laundry room had extreamly up to date, large washer & dryer & the whole property is clean & very well cared for. The location was ideal & close to everything. They where booked foer July 2012 but come aug...here we come..Thank you both Donna & Alan for fitting us in & being so nice..Hope to see you both again soon!!!

Perfect location for a beach vacation. Less than 10 minutes to the beach. Only a ten minute walk to stores and everything you would need. Yet quiet and peaceful. Our hosts were fantastic and it seemed they couldn't do enough for us. The pool was great for relaxing around after a hard day at the beach. Sunset walks were a must every day. We were a group of 4 adults (father/mother, son/daughter-in-law) and an infant. Being so close to the beach with a baby was ideal because we were always a short walk back to the condo for a quick change.
I would highly recommend Castnetter Beach Resort. -

The condo was perfect for 4 adults and we had 2 infants that we were able to set up in their Pack & Plays. Very nice area with all local restaurants (no major chains on the Island) which were all wonderful. We stayed for 7 days and never left the Island!
Alan and Donna are great owners that we happened to meet while we were there. They were very accommodating and offered great insight into what to do while in the area. -

What can I say about this wonderful Castnetter Resort.Ed and I (Mary)searched the web for a vacation on annaMaria Island and came to a
resort Called Castnetter Resort so we booked a a 10day vacation in March of 2011 and loved every thing the Resort had to offer.Not to mention the short walk to Holmes beach right across the street. was such a wonderful stay so, we booked another vacation at the same resort in March of 2112. Regretfully we will not be staying at the Castnetter in the future because we bought a villa not to far away from our dear friends alan and Donna.Whom we will be staying in touch with.Thank you again you guys.

We love the location of the Castnetter Beach Resort ... Gulf on one side, bay on the other, close to the beach, great restaurants and shops.

For our one week stay, our family of four had everything we needed - a well equipped kitchen, beautiful outdoor deck, comfortable beds, direct access to beautiful Holmes Beach and wonderful restaurants, and great hosts that provided our family with bikes and fishing rods. We hope to come back!

Castnetter 5 is my vacation stay since 3 years. Alsways proper and clean. Landlords are outstanding friendly and helpful. I love the quality furniture, matrasses and pillow in bed are new and a "starter kit" in kitchen is available. Location is perfect.Comming back for sure

I like the Castnetters No.6 very much and stayed 3 times there.
It has all what you need to have great holidays.
The landlords alan and Donny Gary are very friendly and help you in any situation. The appartments are all very lovely furnished and is located direct to the beach, The Beach Cafe and other point of interest, like supermarket, bank, and lots more.
I enjoyed my holdidays every time I was there -

This is an excellent place in the perfect location on anna Maria. You are close to everything (walking distance)with
excellent restaurants.
There is so much to do on anna Maria for both adults and families, and also the perfect place to visit if 'doing nothing' is top of your list.
Brand new pool, brand new renovations, a must see. I would highly recommend this location to anyone planning a stay on Florida' Gulf Coast. -

My wife, son (2 1/2 years old) and myself just spent a week at this wonderful Condo. The location is top notch right across the street from one of the nicest beaches on the island, close to shopping and great resturants. The Condo it's self was wonderfuly decorated and comfortable the appliances were all new, clean and in perfect working order. Nice and quiet the deck was large and there was always a nice cool breeze at night.
The owners were very accomodating and friendly with wonderful tips on where to eat and what to do for fun. They were spot on with there recomendations for resturants such as "The Lazy Lobster" for seafood and Omas Pizza for Pizza obviously :)
I plan on going again next year or maybe sooner! -

This was our first time in anna Maria but after staying at this condo it will not be the last. The location is great and we were made very welcome by the owners. The condo felt like a luxury hotel with everything we needed. We will deffinately be going back.

The Castnetter Resort offers great location and amenities for the price. We stayed for 6 nights for less than $1,000 which is hard to find on anna Maria Island. It's located directly across from the public beach and you can walk to both the grocery and pharmacy. The apartment was small but we were mostly outside anyway!

A beautiful, clean 2 bedroom. Great deck!!
Convenient parking right out front. We were all very comfortable. Unit well stocked with essentials. Golf cart rental on-site. Within walking distance to the beautiful beach. Also, pool on site. We all had a wonderful time. Already planning a trip back soon!!
