We have come back for another year at this condo. The condo is large and spacious which makes living in a different abode for week a lot easier since my organization tends to fail on vacation. We were able to spread out a bit and still have plenty of room. The kitchen set up is pleasant and roomy and the bar across the counter makes socializing easy while food is being prepped.
The only slightly unpleasant surprise was the raccoon population that took me by surprise. We learned to keep our garage closed at all times and our windows closed on all vehicles. No temptation...no problems. Just have to treat them like little bears and practice clean living to avoid their curiosity. -

Stayed for the month of December 2012, Great position, handy for the shops and an easy walk to the beach. The
unit backs into the mangroves which makes it very private but there are only glimpses of the bay.
The apartment is a good base for a stay on the island but
did require a clean when we arrived. Other than that it was a great place to enjoy the sun without traffic or party noise.

Grosse Ile MIWe had a wonderful time on anna Maria

3 Bedrooms 3 baths, 3 balconies-what could be better for 2 couples sharing a relaxing month on anna Maria? Master bedroom is huge with a king bed and a pull out couch. Checkin was flawless and service was great-altho there were a few minor problems. Condo had not been cleaned as described, heat was off and then air conditioning needed service--this was taken care of immediately and did not spoil our experience at all! We had to call for vacuum cleaner bags-again delivered immediately. At the end of our visit the dishwasher died and was replaced within 2 days. The pool area was spectacular and very close to unit. The condo area is very quiet and the 1/2 mile walk to the beach is comfortable. Conveniences such as groceries and drugstores are very close and great. This condo is located so that the traffic problems on anna Maria do not affect it to much and the anna Maria shuttle (a great service) is very close. Parking at the unit is problematic especially for two couples with two cars. The unit has a garage door and getting in and out is an experience I might not care to repeat--too tight for anything but a compact car. Also be aware there are lot of stairs as this is second and third floor townhouse. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff at Vacation Rentals before and during our visit. They are professional and caring-and answered a myriad of questions before and during our visit and rescued us immediately when we locked ourselves out of the unit! They really do replicate a good concierge service at a hotel.Listening to people at the pool talking about their rentals from Vrbo and Craig's list made us very glad we had rented from Island Vaction Rentals.
