Castnetter Beach Resort unit 11, located at 4101 Gulf Drive in Holmes Beach is a delightful island locale situated conveniently across from the Manatee Public Beach and the shimmering Gulf of Mexico. hello,
the castnetter 11 is a nice unit and the location is awesome but...the kitchen utensils and bowls/plates were a dusty/greasy mess. Also there was problems with the bathroom sinks as they have drain problems. Also...there was a common pool for the units but i'm told there is a family fued where the catnetters can't use the pool any longer.the outside deck was also dirty and needs a better cleaning crew as there was dog doo doo out there and several areas where something was spilled and not cleaned up.Response from Island Vacation Properties, LLC - 04/05/2013

This beautifully decorated, clean, spacious condo is located directly across the street from the Public Beach. The updated kitchen had all the amenities we needed for our stay. A large wrap-around deck offers a relaxing oasis at the end of the day. The owner was very helpful, giving us suggestions for dining and sightseeing. A large grocery store and 2 major drug stores are about 5 minutes away from the condo. Anna Maria Island offers superb beaches and a variety of restaurants to suite everyones palate. Lido Key, Bradenton and Sarasota are all within easy access, too.

The unit was in a great location and was very clean, however we've stayed in other units that were better stocked (dishes/linens)and offered more. The TV/DVD remotes didn't work - the batteries were dead, there was mold in the coffee pot and the hot water was turned off. We called and reported the issues and they turned on the water heater and we were given a new coffee pot - with no carafe! Tv in master bedroom also did not work. All in all we felt the unit could have been prepared for our arrival better and had more amentities for the amount we paid.

I had a very good experience staying at Castnetter Beach Resort 11. In pictures i was able to see a little of how it looked. But staying is a different story. Everything was very clean and neat. I was surprised in the kitchen i was able to find everything i needed to cook. It was like if i was home. I think, that is what everyone is looking forward to find. Somewhere you can stay that you feel like you are at home and in peace. It was an excellent experience! i will definitely booked it for next year but this time i would stay longer. The location was perfect. I have no complains.

This was a very nice place to stay in Anna Maria Island. The pool was nice, and the place was right across the street from the beach which was great! Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate while we were there! Accommodations were very comfortable, but there were quite a few steps to get there being on the 3rd floor! Only wished there had been some plastic plates and cups since we were traveling with kids. Otherwise a very nice place to stay!

Our family of 6 stayed in this unit for 3 days and we wished we would have stayed longer! It was very nice inside, updated with new furniture,very clean. It was also just across the road from a main public beach, which was very convient, we could pack up what we needed and just walk across the road to the beach for the day. The pool on this property was also very nice and heated which was goodin the evenings. We will definately stay here again, we loved the island and the rental personnel was very helpful when we arrived.
