Islands West Resort, located at 3605 Gulf Drive in Holmes Beach, is a tranquil resort with a large heated pool just a short stroll to the Gulf, shopping and restaurants. Enjoy the relaxing charm of island living when you stay at the Islands West Resort. The property consists of four, one bedroom suites, a two bedroom, suite and a studio. Each suite features a private courtyard garden with a private charcoal grill.All units have high speed internet with expanded cable and free domestic long distance calling. Best: Susan was wonderful in helping over the phone.
I loved your presentation on-line.
I felt welcomed and able to get early check-in.
Office was very helpful in connecting to internet.
Nice big frig which had ice in it when we arrived.
Lots of storage
Great supply of towels and linen
I could walk over to visit friends at Umbrella Beach.
Husband was happy to leave fan on in bedroom to mask noise from #6.
Nice wine glasses.
Least: Two cars packed at #6 - little room for our car.
We could hear #6 talking and laughing.
There was room for and I would prefer two twins in the bedroom -I have restless leg syndrome and needed to sleep on the sleeper sofa which was very uncomfortable.
The non-stick fry pan needs replacement.
The microwave tray did not fit and would wooble.
Forgot slippers and wore white socks which were covered with dirt and long black hair, I'm blonde - husband is gray?
The phone needed to be replaced - could barely get a dail tone and then would disconnect.

Garbage was a mystery - #6 showed us where to put it.
If our friends come back to Umbrella next year, we would stay at #3, off of Gulf and the traffic.

We enjoyed our stay. There was a nice little park with a paved trail nearby in which we could walk our dog. Close to the beach, rooms were clean but the bed was a little bumpy. It was quiet while we were there and we enjoyed sitting out on the little patio.

We spent 3 nice days in a spacious, clean, condo. The kitchen was well equipped. The heated pool and garden area with barbeque grills was very nice. The beach was a short walk, and was beautiful. We enjoyed Skinnys a nearby local grill and pub. Nice places to eat were within easy driving distance. We will definitely return to this beautiful place.

We love it there!! Hated to leave.. near the beach which was beautiful this year. Nice pool and so close to grocery ect stores. We come every year and thinhk about staying someone else but after looking.. this is truly the best deal for the price

Loved the place, the closeness to beach.
But my wife and come to anna Maria for the
secluded feel and the quiet of the town. The screening
process for one of our neighbors wasn't solid.
They had 16 ish people in a unit. The "party"
clientele are what we try to avoid.
The pool area was not optional for us due to
the "questionable" people. Ashame that these sort of
people can effect others.
We love the island, just ashame these
people slipped past. We still plan on using
island vacation. Just probably not multiple unit

Holmes beach is great we had a great time, everything was convenient to what we were doing. The rental was very small and not updated. The location was great though, walking distance to the beach and publix.

We were very pleased that the place looked exactly as it does on the photos. We liked that it was so close to the beach. The pool was cleaned regularly and the property is well maintained. The price is very reasonable. We will definitely return next year.

We loved our stay and will come back for sure. It was nice that we has our only family in the other rentals. Servcie was excellent. There was a mix up with a relative regarding final payment and there was no issue no problem with owners and it was fixed right away. thank you the murphys will be back!!

We met two other friends down there for the week. The furnished units allowed us to have our individual plans and also be able to meet at the poolside and enjoy grilling together and visiting late into the night. Laundry was aso onsite and that made things easy. the beach is one block away, a shopping center is one block in the other direction with a grocery store and restaurants. We had everything we needed. One of our friends had a maitnenace issue in the unit and it was fixed promptly. I would definately stay here again.
