Dolphin Cottage, our "little house" on Anna Maria Island, is a cozy, charming old-Florida home with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms - perfect for a couple or family. It is very close to the beach, with only two other houses between it and our beautiful, un-crowded beach on the Gulf of Mexico.

What we liked about this location was that the neighborhood was real and comfortable. It was not highly manicured. Instead, the landscaping was more natural.
We loved that the beach was just around the corner and a few houses away. So if the kids forgot something or had to use the bathroom, they could just run back to the house! -

This comfy cottage is conveniently located and fully equipped. Great for families,friends and fun in the sun! Just steps to the beach for swimming, sunning and fabulous sunsets. We cannot wait to go back!

My family and friends stayed at this charming house that is just steps to the beach. It is a cute cottage with lots of Florida charm. The walks on the beach in the morning and watching sunsets in the evening were wonderful. We put up our umbrellas and tents on the beach in the morning and took them down in the evening and went back/forth to the house. Nobody bothered our stuff on the beach and the beach wasn't crowded at all! Very nice area and lots of comfy furniture to relax on at night. We brought a boat and it was just a short trip to put it in for a day of fishing. Parking the boat on the property was also a big plus! We will be back again soon!

My family and I stayed at Dolphin Cottage two years in a row and plan to return again. The cottage itself is simple, nothing fancy, but very comfortable, quiet and clean. It is an extremely short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Anna Maria Island is a lovely, unique, unspoiled place and--a perfect place for a family vacation. The owners of the cottage were welcoming and very helpful. I highly recommend this property.
