Aloha and welcome to our Island Home.
Ohana is Hawaiian for family and that is who you are when you stay with us. Our retreat is nestled on Anna Maria Island, Florida and is a short 5 minute walk to the white sand beaches and turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

We have stayed 10 days in this vacation home and everything was just perfect, clean and whenever we came home, it felt like coming home. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal.
We got wunderfull support from the owners with whatever we needed. They are really really helpfull.
The beach is a 5 minutes walk away and the neighberhood is also very nice... all in all... we will come back... asap ;) -

As hosts, Danny and Brenda will never be "in your face" but the moment you're in need with respect to your accommodation, they'll be there. The facility itself is elegant, bright and cheerful with numerous upgrades. You won't appreciate how well equipped the kitchen is until you move on to another rental where you find yourself reaching for something that hasn't been as carefully provided. This facility is a five minute walk to one of the finest beaches in Florida. But it's in the true nature of hospitality where Brenda and Danny shine. They kept me informed of events in the area and provided valuable tips and guidance to match my interests.

We had a very nice stay at Ohana Hale Island Retreat. The apartment was very comfortable and met all of our needs and expectations. Danny and his wife were very nice to work with. The decor was cheerful and bright and everything was clean and very well taken care of. I would highly recommend this rental. We hope to return again!

Rented the duplex for Father's day weekend and had a blast. Even though you are not directly on the water you can walk there in five minutes, or drive if you care to. Three blocks to the beach. The unit was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. Definately one the better units we have stayed in over the years. Brenda and Danny were a pleasure to work with and very accomadating. You will not be dissapointed staying here I assure you.

Perfect for a couple. My husband and I stayed 7 nights at Ohana Hale. Great location with a 5 minute walk to the beach. The 1 bedroom had plenty of space and was perfectly clean. Bath and Kitchen was beautiful. The Mattress on the Queen bed was so comfortable, made the vacation even more relaxing!

My adult daughter and I recently wanted to get away for a few days to the beach. We discovered Ohana Retreat on Trip advisor and so I contacted the owners, Danny and Brenda. They were wonderful! It worked out that it was available the two days we needed. Brenda communicated with us several times. It is a spacious 1-bedroom and 1-bath that is very tastefully decorated and clean. It is upstairs so might not be good for people who have difficulty going up and down stairs and only 2 blocks from the beach. There was a St. Patrick's Day parade that went down our street and so that was an added bonus. We love anna Maria Island and look forward to staying at the Ohana again!

this is a bright and airy duplex with luxury bathroom and well equipped kitchen. the bedroom is light with patio doors open to a small balcony. the furnishings are modern and new with high quality entertainment products.
there is a balcony to the front of the property which overlooks one of the busier(relatively speaking!) roads on the island. to the rear the balcony overlooks a well screened small lake which you cannot see.
we stayed on the opposite side previously and there was access to the lake. -

1st of all the owners upgraded us to the two bedroom retreat. If you wanted to cook the kitchen was well stocked and extremely big. The retreat was very clean which was really a plus. Our time on the island was so relaxing it was just what we needed. I really want to say thank you to the owners i had left my shaving kit and they went out of their way to retrieve it and send it to me through the mail. Talk about customer service, anyway if your looking for a place to stay on anna Maria Island this is one worth considering.

Danny and Brenda were nothing other than awesome. Our stay was very relaxing! The unit is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. It was truly like being at home. My husband and I travelled with our 10 month daughter and they even provided a portable crib!! Our trip was last minute and Danny and Brenda accomodated us every step of the way. Very short and relaxing walk to the beach. We look forward to returning and would recommend this rental to anyone. Thanks for everything Danny and Brenda!

We had a great stay here for one week in February 2011. Danny was super helpful, helping us find a pack'n'play for our baby, and many other resources.
We loved the modern feel of this home. It was nothing like some stuffy and old-fashioned vacation rentals we've had in the past. It was clean, bright and unfussy. Even the trash can is high tech! We brought Dvds to watch, and Danny even provided Netflix so we could watch Instant Watch movies.
We chose this rental instead of going to a resort, and we are really glad we did. -

I would recommend this home for a family of 4 or even a family with a toddler and two older children. There is a bedroom and and pull out sofa. The kitchen is fully equiped and the home is just adorable. Danny and Brenda did an awesome job of decorating. It makes you really feel tropical. I will go back for certain. As much as I want to keep this island all to myself, people are going to find it. It is wonderful. Not too many people. If your looking for a great place to stay in a good location for a outstanding price, this is it. Danny made the process of renting very simple. Danny even provides a beach umbrella, beach chairs, boogey boards, and a cooler. The beach is about a 5 min walk and bean point is around a 20 min walk. Well worth the time to check out. Thanks again Danny and Brenda!! We had a wonderful time!

Danny Chin did a beautiful job of remodeling this duplex. It was lovely and comfortable. Danny and Brenda were very kind and gracious hosts. They took care of our every need, and answered our every question. The home was spotless when we moved in. Plenty of room for a couple. The bedroom had a nice ceiling fan above the bed. The bed was comfortable, with a large walk-in closet. All kitchen appliances worked well. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The air-conditioning worked flawlessly. The location was great. A very short walk to the beach and shopping. My wife and I would gladly stay there again.

As first-time visitors to anna Maria Island, we were delighhted to find this rental. It was immaculate, the owner (Danny Chin)could not been more friendly and helpful. The accomodations were perfect for us - the appliances were brand new as were the fixtures and the furnishings. We walked to the beach (2 1/2 blocks)every day, and the unit came equipped with beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler. We loved it!!
