Our family enjoyed our stay at Quiet Times this Spring. The pool was a definite hit with the little ones! The walk to the beach was short and sweet! The home provided everything we needed to enjoy our Spring break on anna Maria Island. Thank you Quiet Times!!

I stayed with a friend and our 5 kids during spring break. We chose this house for the location and price. For the money it was what we were looking for. If you spend more your going to get a nicer house but we were on a budget.
Pros:
•2 blocks from a nice path to a gorgeous beach! We didn't find crossing Gulf blvd that bad. •The heated pool was awesome. We had a problem/question about the pool and a rep from Island Vacations was there to answer within a couple of hours.
•The house had 4 adult bikes we didn't know about (2 didn't work). This was a nice bonus.
•The house had beach towels that we didn't know about. This was a nice bonus. But we would have packed lighter had we known.
•The kitchen was well stocked with utensiles and pots and pans. Everything was in working order.
Cons:
The house is worn, the furniture is worn. My biggest complaint was the squeaky beds and noisy ceiling fans in the bedrooms. My friend's biggest complaint was you had to get into the shower to turn it on. You couldn't reach in and adjust the temp. Also, I found the toilets not clean when we got there. But this has nothing to do with the home.
But like I said you get what you pay for. If you want a deluxe house with granite and everything matching look else where.Response from Island Vacation Properties, LLC - 11/01/2012

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at the Quiet Times. We did relay your comments to the owners and they have replaced all of the beds so that issue has been resolved. The ceiling fans have been repaired. The owner has mentioned that he is going to be replacing the living room sofa bed. We do appreciate your comments and hope that you will return soon. Quiet times met all of our needs perfectly! Our Daughter got married in longboat key and this location was perfect. We had rehersal gathering here and it was perfect. We stayed for a week after the wedding and the beach location and accessabilty to groceries, etc was perfect. The island property rental staff was outstanding and very helpfull. Looking forward to another family trip to quiet times!!!

We were very pleased with our accomodations. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. It is very close to the beach and the private fenced in pool was wonderful, especially on the days that were too windy at the beach.
Even though there were just 3 of us, the amount of room would be very good for a family, especially with two bathrooms. I would not hesitate to return to this property.
Also, the rental agency was very accomodating and helped us with anything we needed.

We have stayed at Quiet Times a few times and have really come to feel very comfortable there. This home was especially attractive to us because it was affordable, close to the beach and had a pool. Because we do not venture far from the area during our stay it is nice having the pool for the children to use when not at the beach. The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood only a block in from the main road. It is a short distance to the beach so it makes for any easy walk. The only drawback would be crossing the main road if it is busy (weekends mostly). All the conveniences you would need, groceries, restaurants etc are nearby. The home is neat and tidy and having the washer and dryer is a big plus for washing beach towels and such during the week. The leasing agents are very helpful, if you have a need, and are quick to take care of it. I would certainly recommend Quiet Times to anyone who would enjoy "Nice Times" staying near the beach.

My family really enjoyed this home. Close to beach, close to free trolley, restaurants are great!Pool was refreshing for morning swim and relaxing in the evening. Home was well maintained. High speed internet was great for the kids! Only complaint was needed more towels in linen closet. But I am sure that has been corrected as I let Island Vacation Properties know this. I have rented with them in the past and they have excellent customer service. Anna Maria Island is our favorite vacation spot.

Third time we've stayed here. Love the house with it's enclosed yard. Come down for quiet R and R every year and this is what we are looking for. Lovely pool. Will continue to return.

This house met all our standards and requirements except for the extremely poor amenities provided by the owner/cleaner.
There was only half a toilet roll in the entire house when we first rented. 4 sheets of paper towel. No dish washer detergent. 1 piece of soap. laundry powder. At this rent, there should be ample supply of all of these things.
When staying in a hotel/condo, there are extra toilet rolls and paper towels, plus soap and every other supply one needs. I mentioned this to the rental agency and they were indifferent.Response from Island Vacation Properties, LLC - 03/15/2009
