Tropical and colorful interior, great parking, easy steps to beach, close to both causeways, dog park, stores, restaurants and quiet location. Only criticism is noisey refrigerator, primitive broom-dustpan, mop -bucket for floor care and I had a dog. The bedroom TV needed to be wall mounted up high because the king bed was so high. Great pool and neighbors. I would rent there again.

Second year that my wife and I have stayed at Marlin Resort West. Can't say enough great things about it. Clean, modern, comfortable. Really liked the outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand after the beach. 100 steps from the almost private beach and the beautiful turquiose waters of the Gulf! Close walking distance to the local grocery store (Publix) among others (Walgreen's, CVS, Ace Hardware). The only negative I could find is the wall-mounted air conditioner compressor is on the wall just outside the bedroom and cycles on and off a lot. Earplugs for sleeping (if you're a light sleeper like me) are encouraged.

Marlin Resort West was rented but I am from SDIt was a fairly nice place, but it was NOT CLEANED, dirty sheets

This is a nice little place, but was very disappointed that it was not at all cleaned.... dirty sheets, dirty, dirty stool and bathroom.... also nothing had been cleaned from whom ever stayed there before.... so my son and his fiance had to clean, instead of relax when they got to this rental.... which was quite disappointing. I did report this to Island Vacation properties (Ed Kim) and was hoping that some sort of reimbursement would be given... but that was not mentioned or done.
A nice little place, but hopefully will be cleaned when new guests arrive.

This is a nice, small unit, close to the beach, with a well-stocked kitchen, and wonderful high-speed internet access, and DVD equipment and expanded cable. It is close to the grocery store and drug store. I have stayed on AMI many times over the past few years, and would strongly recommend this home.

We have stayed in this neighborhood for the last 7 yrs. on 35th st and 36th st. the location is perfect. just steps to the beach.

This was our fifteenth or sixteenth visit to the lovely Anna Maria Island. We have stayed at Bradenton Beach and Holmes Beach,and think that this is a real magical place.
The rental property was quite clean and adequate for two,and its location being about a couple of hundred feet from the beach was wonderful. The property is also located just as close to shops and a top class Supermarket,and with a free Island Trolley,you can do so much without using your car.
If I was to criticize the property at all, I would point to the lack of a dishwasher,but that's about it.(Big deal !)
