What a wonderful home. Great view. Very clean and comfortable. Great part of the beach with no high rise buildings. Old Florida! Quality bed linens. The well laid out kitchen is equiped for serious cooking. We stopped at Mazzaro's 2909 22nd ave N St Petersburg, and bought a week of perfect things: fish, beef, cheese fresh pasta, etc.
Went fishing three days and did very well, red fish, trout,flounder and pompano.

As we approached anna Maria Island, we wondered what the surprise drawback to this Vrbo would be. There wasn't one. The house was spacious and spotless, and the view was superb, yet the place felt private. It was walking distance to a couple of decent restaurants and an easy free-trolley ride to more. The kitchen was beautifully equipped for meals at home. The house is right on the beach, for walking and people- or sunset-watching. An easy drive to Sarasota for opera, to the Little Manatee River conservation area, and the Gamble Plantation historic site. The bed was really comfortable. We only used the master bedroom, and the second bedroom looked great as well. The third - with two sets of bunk beds - looked more comfortable for kids than adults. Reliable, fast Wifi. Equipment - excellent. Everything we looked for was there, even an iron and ironing board, which we needed as soon as we arrived. Only drawbacks: master bathtub tap and shower control extremely stiff; no provision for handling recyclables. Property managers very responsive. Living area on second floor, parking below. Staircase to entry.

We rented this property recently and it was truly disappointing. Although the agency was gracious to let us in early and worked with us, the property needs help. The outside walls are the dirtiest we've ever seen (not sure if they are old, rusty ?) I was afraid to open the door when we arrived - it really looks horrible. The housekeeper stopped by the next day and apologized for the walls, but blamed it on the last storm. However, all other homes were clean in the area and they all got hit by the same storm. . The granite countertops were dirty; drinking cups/glasses that got washed had lipstick on them (I had to wash the glasses a couple of times to get them clean;) utensils had food on them (dirty as well.) The paint in the bathroom/bedrooms are cracking and need a paint job and so does the rest of the house. The chairs/beach chairs on the deck are old, rusty and fell apart - this is very dangerous if you have little kids with you (we had a 2.5 and 4.5 year old with us and the chair fell apart on one of them.) These should be replaced right away -as previously mentioned, everything is old (with exception of the interior I mentioned earlier.) Overall, we were very disappointed we paid the amount we did and expected a lot more. It is not worth the amount they charge per week. One last note, this house is next to parking for a public beach...so it's super busy and loud. If you are looking for privacy and calm, this is not the place for that. Traffic was horrible and people blocked our parking a couple of times (the owners should mention this is not private.) Overall, this is not a home I would recommend ... one of the dirtiest places we've ever rented (and we've been doing this for a very long time.)

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Breakers 3. We are truly sorry that you had issues with the cleaning and we will certainly address these issues with the cleaning crew. They have personally cleaned the house for over five years and this is the first complaint we have ever received so we are certainly concerned.
We do our utmost to maintain this home and have just replaced the entire kitchen less than a year ago and at that time and we are continually upgrading items as needed. Just last fall we thoroughly inspected the entire property and did not see any of the painting issues that you described but the house is very popular has been rented non-stop through the winter season. If painting is required, we will certainly take care of that at the first possible vacant time slot.
Since this is a gulf front home, the house is subject to salt spray. When there is a strong storm, the outside of the house does get dirty but we clean it as often as possible. Any items on the exterior of the house rust quickly. We will certainly remove and replace any deck chairs that are not up to our standard.
Although the washer and dryer are not brand new, both work well. We apologize that the air conditioning had to be repaired during your stay.
During your stay which is at the height of the winter/spring break period, parking is at a premium. We are sorry that you were displeased with the cars parking on the public access but unfortunately, we cannot control who parks in this area. It is city owned property.
Again, we apologize for the issues you encountered and do hope you’ll try Breakers 3 again!

A charming beach house in a great location - we loved staying here and 'chilling out' in the high humidity of the floridian summer. We all needed some relaxation time after the thrill of some of the parks in central florida - and this was the perfect place to be.

Thank you for opportunity to stay in this unit. My wife and I have spent numerous summer vacations in that area over the past 40 years, and up until 1989. Over the past 5 years, we have been back a couple of times. Our daughter especially remembers her younger years and our good times there. We love the beach and the solitude that we experience there.

We love Breakers III. This is our third visit in 6 years, and our family always looks forward to returning to our favorite spot on the gulf. It works so well for our family and our vacation mode: beach and hanging out. Ami is so family friendly, and a perfect place for our gathering. Proximity to stores, restaurants and activities is unmatched. We love the old Florida feeling of aMI, and Breakers III keeps getting better and better for us.

This was a fabulous home. Comfortable for 12 and decorated nicely with all the amenities. The deck with beautiful views and direct beach access made every minute day or night just what the doctor ordered. The owner is hands on and very accommodating along with the team at Island Vacations.
I highly recommend this property if you are looking to lodge 8 or more. The only improvement I would make is a larger capacity washer/dryer and perhaps more comfortable mattresses on the bunk beds.

I liked the house- the only problem was ants the last day- but I guess they were escaping the cold too. It was great to be right on the beach, and the house reminded me of places we have wstayed on the outer banks of North Carolina. I would stay there again and would reccomment the house.

we have vacationed in the LBK/AMI areas for over twenty years, but this was our first time to rent a house rather than a condo unit. this is a well furnished immaculately clean house with a great location - right on the beach and only a half-mile walk to downtown Anna Maria. House was great. Beautiful sunset views off deck. Just a short walk and your on the beach. That was very important for our family with children. We could get to the beach and then back to the house for naps and lunch. Kitchen was stocked with most everything needed for preparing meals. We enjoyed the house being so open. It is real close to the grocery store(which we visited daily)and to do a little shopping at small novelty stores here and there. The washer and dryer were nice as we washed up the beach towels daily. It was nice that these were provided. However I did wash a small batch of white tops and they came out all rusty looking. Have to see if I can get this out now that we are at home. Did not notice this on towels. Would rent this house again. Very very nice location, great beach, and you can cook and stay right there. No need to go anywhere. This vacation created great memories for our family as we go through StageIV Breast Cancer with our Loved One. Thank You for a great family vacation.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Breakers 3. It felt like home almost immediately. Our two year old son just loved the beach and was able to safely navigate the house and secure exterior porch. This was our first experience with a beachfront rental and it proved to be ideal in accomodating all of our needs. It was private, yet close to everything that you may need to pickup. The weather could not have been better and the sunsets were just wonderful to view from the porch. Every morning began another day in paradise.

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our vacation on beautiful Anna Marie Island. The house was great; however, the day before we were checking out, the housekeeper entered the house (we were away for the day and house was locked). I had some jewelry stolen. I immediately filed a report with the police. I called the rental agency and reported the incident and also followed up with an email after I got home. Never heard from them. Disappointing. We had hoped to rent again, don't think so!

While this was an unfortunate incident, we did speak about it on numerous occasions. While Anna Maria Island is a quaint and peaceful area, it is not without crime. My family (12 of us) fit very comfortably in this home. It truly felt like we were in Paradise. Our friends on jet skis even came for a visit & "docked" in our back yard. Absolutely loved the open view of the Gulf. Every thought of ammenity was provided for. Loved the outdoor shower, walks on the beach at all hours, covered parking, large table, large countertops, TV in every room, privacy from the beach, yet just a few steps away. Now, if I could just convince the owners to put in a jacuzzi downstairs, I would never leave!!!!

Our family of 5 stayed here last summer. We had a great, relaxing time. The home is close to good restaurants and on a beautiful section of beach. We were able to catch fish right there in the backyard of the house or walk to the nearby pier and fish off that.
