The dishwasher has a problem. It does not get the dishes clean. The top burner on the right side of the stove stayed on high. The repairman said he would have to order a part, so by the time we left it still had a problem. But nothing we could not live with.

We have stayed here at least twice and would've this year too if it was available. Close to ocean, shops and nice pool and hot tub. We grilled out on the deck nightly. Not brand new but clean and spacious.

This is the second time we have stayed here.
House in need of some very minor upkeep, chipped paint, broken light bulb etc, but otherwise fabulous.
Perfectly located near to beach, trolley service, cafe, and stores.
A little piece of paradise.
The house itself is well laid out, plenty of "spreading" room, and the flat roof is perfect for evening socializing and star gazing.

The house had a few things that needed to be addressed. A leakage problem in the upstairs bedroom which went all the way down 3 floors to the basement which had several inches of water flooding. The carpet was dirty and had several stains on the staircase. Most disturbing was in the blue bedroom upstairs where there was a few pieces of chewed gum stuck on top of the headboard, a dirty glass behind a picture, and the blinds were damaged. I stayed in this home several years ago and it was in top shape but it has deteriorated. The housecleaning was below expectations for obvious reasons.

My wife and I went to Anna Maria, FL to get married. We stayed at the Villa de la Playa and LOVED IT! The pool and hot tub were very well maintained and extremely relaxing. The owners had everything we could have needed and more. They had pool toys, blenders, games, etc... This was a beautiful property and very close to the Ocean (2 minute walk). Check out Skinny's Bar if you stay at this property. It's a 2 block walk - great small bar/grill if you're on vacation and looking to relax!
