This 2 bedroom, 2 bath home is located in Holmes Beach just 3 blocks from the beach in a quiet residential neighborhood. The home offers a large open floor plan with a bonus room on the lower level with a sleeper sofa and a game room. Amenities Include:

Full kitchen, dishes, cook ware, utensils, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, disposal, washer/dryer, linens, beach towels, central air conditioning/heat, cable TV, DVD player, stereo, phone, screened patio, screend in heated pool, and BBQ.

Bedding Includes:

1 queen size bed, 2 twin beds, and 2 sleeper sofas.

  The house was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. There is only two complaints we had about the house itself. First was that the master bedroom only had a double bed not a queen which I imagine if I had read the description closer I would have known that going into it. The second and biggest complaint we had was over the useless game room. It is isolated, musty and uninviting and to be honest it was a massive disappointment! Let me tell you it is false advertising for them to list these pool table and foosball table as amenities and features of the rental. They ought to just gwelsh next step and list a fitness gym as a feature because you have to use staircases to access the house or the pool. Back to the point- These games are not pool tables- they are kids novelty games. Only 6 and 7 year olds would find any enjoyment out of these and I imagine that would be short lived because of the dreary feel of the room (no windows) and the separateness from all the other happenings at the property. I normally would not care so much about something like a pool table. However, we specifically chose this house over others because of these misleading claims. We were looking forward to hanging out at night with an extra option besides swimming in the pool. We definitely felt duped when we unlocked the door to that game room. And if things had been correctly presented we definitely would have gotten a house closer to the beach with a 'heated' pool and maybe a queen bedroom set in the master bedroom.

  I am so sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the game room area. It was never meant to be a an area for grown-ups. These are toys for young people only. The owners have now decided to close the downstairs area and no longer make it available for guests. Thank you for your informative review that opened our eyes to this issue.
