Our estate is situated on the slopes of Mt. Hualalai on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are located just 15 minutes from the Kailua-Kona Keahole Airport, 10 minutes from the quaint coastal town of Kailua-Kona, 10 minutes from the artists’ village of Holualoa, and also 10 minutes from Costco! We are at a comfortable 1500' elevation and have 150 producing Kona Coffee trees that we will give you samples of to enjoy during your stay.

Separate from the main house on the estate and above the garage (up stairs), we offer a private, peaceful, Hawaiian motif 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment with fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, and... bamboo floors throughout.

There is a queen bed in the bedroom, and a Euro lounger sofa/bed (makes into 49"wide x 80" long bed which is between a single and full size bed) in the living room with all linens supplied. The bathroom has a large walk-in tiled shower with plenty of bath and beach towels supplied for your use. The bedroom and kitchen have views overlooking the ocean. The large sunny living room extends onto a large lanai through 16' sliding glass doors overlooking the lush gardens & greenbelt. There is a 42” flat screen TV with multiple channels, wireless high speed Internet, stereo, CD & DVD player in the living room. There is a gas BBQ, table and chairs on the lanai. Watch the native birds and the occasional wild pigs stroll by!

There are coin-op laundry facilities available for your use in the unit, along with beach chairs, umbrella and coolers for outings.

The unit is perfect for 1 couple +, maximum 4 persons (check convertible bed size), but not suitable for small children as there is an open stairwell inside the apartment, and stairs outside up to the unit. Overall square footage, including lanai is 816 sq. ft. It is not handicap accessible as there are stairs up to the apartment.

You are welcome to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails in the gazebo overlooking the estate and Pacific Ocean, or reserve a time in the hot tub after a long day of activities. This accommodation is an extension of our estate’s pride of ownership. We want you to make yourselves at home and treat it with the respect you would your own. We do have pets, a dog and a cat, who will be as friendly as you want them to be.

Kailua-Kona has several world renowned events, including the Ironman Triathlon in October, and the International Billfishing Tournament in August, along with ongoing outdoor athletic events. There is lots to do on the Big Island. You can fish, surf, snorkel,

scuba dive, kayak, swim with the dolphins, golf, see an active volcano, hike, bike, and star gaze at an observatory. In the winter you can ski/snowboard/sled on the slopes of Mauna Kea, conditions permitting.

Rates for 2 people is $135 per night, 3 night minimum. Additional $20 per person, per night over 2 people, maximum 4. Plus Hawaii Tax of 13.4166%. No cleaning fee.

  We loved staying at the Kona Coffee Vacation Rental. It had beautiful views, was clean and updated, had an excellent entertainment system. It was comfortable and private, and just a few minutes away from all the wonderful things to do. It was the perfect size for a newlywed couple. We loved how welcomed we felt. They gave us a great little fruit basket. The outdoor dining set was a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of the island. The plantation is green and lush. It was a perfect experience. We can't wait to return to our Island Paradise.

  My husband and I just returned from a fantastic stay at this rental. It was wonderful. This is probably one of the cleanest rentals we've stayed on. There are a lot of little extras in the house that make the stay very nice. We had coffee, tea, even some shampoo and conditioner in the shower. It was perfect. The view from the bedroom and the kitchen is amazing.
  
  Its a steep hill up to the house from the city but it takes less that 15 minutes to get into town. Being up the hill just makes you feel more like you are away from the hustle and bustle. There are a lot of wonderful things to do in town. You are also very close to the Sheraton where you can see the manta rays swim at night or even go snorkeling with them (we went with Fairwind and it was awesome).
  
  The owners of this rental are really wonderful people. They go out of their way to be accommodating and make you feel relaxed during your stay. My only wish is that we had had more time at this place and more time to get to know them. They helped us find some great snorkeling spots and were just fun people to talk to. Their little dog Shay will guard your door at night. She is a sweet puppy. Not demanding like mine :-)
  
  I really hope we make it back this way soon. This is definitely the kind of place we love and we would rent this place again in a heartbeat.

  We had a great stay at Donna and Robbie's place. Just above Kona (8 miles straight up from downtown Kona) the house is very easy to find and they give you excellent directions. Robbie is a contractor and has done a great job with this apartment. We have stayed at vacation rentals all over the world but this one takes the cake. Not the biggest, but definitely the nicest. Beautiful shower and bathroom and a great kitchen. They also provide nice cook wear and utensils not just cheap stuff from Walmart. Plenty of towels, beach chairs, cooler, and everything else you need is provided.

  Perfection with a View

  From the second we arrived, my husband and I were absolutely blown away. The location was stunning, the owners pleasant, welcoming, informative, and respectful of our privacy. And did I mention the stunning location? Well, it warrants a second mention! The cottage was completely private...a beautifully decorated "contemporary cottage." It had views from every window, and the entire living room had sliding glass doors that led to a spacious lanai, where you could sit and enjoy the tropical foliage with the delicious coffee from their farm!. The elevation kept the place cool, but there were numerous ceiling fans if needed. The cottage included everything you could possibly need or want; a cooler, beach chairs and towels, a grill, big screen tv, books, wireless internet access, even an electric free standing fireplace to if you need a little heat in the early morning. The location is close to town, but just far enough away to not have the tourist hustle and bustle. We have always stayed at resorts before, but this one experience was so fantastic that we're unlikely to go back to staying at a resort. It is absolutely guaranteed that we will return to this cottage. I only wish I could keep it a secret, but that would be selfish! Absolute perfection!

  The Evett's have the most delightful piece of property with a very comfortable, well equipped unit. Everything we needed or wanted was at hand. The accommodations are comfortable and spacious enough for four easily. I can hardly wait to go back.Private and quiet - perfect for truly relaxing.

  We arrived to a wonderful friendly welcome by the owners.
  We loved the apartment before we even stepped inside. Once inside we could feel this property had been built an furnished with love and pride. It is very private and relaxing. One of those places where you see as well as soak up the atmosphere. It is a great place to stay and explore the Island. We will go back.
