We are located atop West Hill in Homer, Alaska with spectacular views of Kachemak Bay and the Kenai Mountains. We offer deluxe accommodations in our four cabins with custom woodwork and interiors and a large two bedroom suite with private entrance in our main house. Rain or shine you can enjoy the view from your covered deck while you relax after a fun filled day. Each unit is unique so there is one just perfect to suit your needs, including handicap accessibility, full kitchens, washer/dryer, satellite TV, wireless internet, hot tub, and more. Rates based on double occupancy for smaller units, four persons for Moose Den and Bracor Suite.

Stayed at Highliner with the family. 3 new cabins of different sizes, also rent the basement apartment of their home. Wife and two teen age sons used the basement and the Moose Tooth Cabin for 3 nites each. At first I was skeptical about the basement aptm. But upon arrival both were great. Basement apt offered washer/dryer, 2 bedrooms, plenty of space, microwave refrig. No Kitchen per se. Hottub, big lawn area overlook spectacular view of Kbay. Almost never heard residents above. Nice. Moose tooth Cabin also great. Loft are has 3 beds plusseparate bedroom. Also great views. A bit on the high price end for homer. One of those splurge type places. Would like to ask Marcia to add BBQ grill to basement apmt area as that would be enough to make it even more comfortable. Nice folks, very very clean. Get what is promised. Would stay there again and avoid the hectic spit. A bit out to the way, but a great view. I would go back.

My husband & I rented the Moose Lodge at the Highliner House for our august vacation and were thrilled with the location and the house itself. The furnishings were spotless and looked almost new, the kitchen was well equipped and we loved the special soap Marcia Boone furnishes in the bathroom. The view of Ketchemak bay was breathtaking and we heard stories of moose roaming the property, although we never saw any there. (We did see a moose and her 2 calves on one of the main streets in Homer, however.) If you would like a peaceful, comfortable, nicely furnished house to rent while in Homer, this is the place to be. And be sure to notice the living room wall above and between the sconces - the craftsman who did the plaster work created a bas relief moose on the wall! Absolutely charming!
