Enjoy the quiet serenity of our home on the South-facing slope overlooking Kachemak Bay. Watch moose, sandhill cranes, eagles and other wildlife from our 62 ft. deck. We have 3 rooms plus a 2-bedroom suite, all of which have private bathrooms, TV's with Dish satellite service and WiFi service. Three of the rooms have private entrances and the fourth, the Puffin Suite, is upstairs. We offer a full breakfast each morning or if you are taking a fishing charter or other excursion that requires that you be out early we will provide a "to go" meal to get you started. Cranes Rest B&B; was the perfect resting spot during our fishing excursion in Homer, Alaska. Steve & Julie (owners) made us feel right at home and went above & beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We unfortunately encountered mechanical difficulties with our rental car during our stay but Steve & Julie made sure we were taken care of. They provided transportation, recommended excellent service stations, made phone calls and assured us we would be taken care of, which we were. There home provided us with everything we could have wanted; outstanding views from the deck, excellent travel breakfasts to accompany us on our fishing excursions, a very quiet & comfortable bed,a clean private bathroom, laundry facilities, a safe & secure place to keep our fishing equipment, and an overall happy atmosphere everyday we were there. I highly recommend Cranes Rest B&B; and look forward to our next stay.
