Island Colony is located in the heart of Waikiki. Close to everything; world famous Waikiki beach, world class shopping, romantic dining and dancing.
We offer a wide variety of units within this property: studios with kitchenettes; one bedroom/one bath units with full kitchens; all with lanais; some with views of the ocean or Ala Wai canal; a wide variety of sleeping arrangements, just let us know your preferences.

The only difficulty was trying yo find the office. You need a key fob to make the elevator work. Security helped me without a problem.

Although this unit was in a great location we were not overly impressed with what it offered. We hated the bathroom as it needs upgrade so badly but mostly is teeny tiny beyond comfort. There was only one beach chair so we had to purchase a chair, that we left behind. We also had to purchase beach towels as those offered were small and threadbare. Amanda was lovely and so helpful but we would never take this place again! Sorry but lacking in basic comforts. We travel a lot and this place might get a 5 out of 10!

We have stayed at the Island Colony for the last seven years and have been taken care of very well in all aspects. Our expectations have been met and we appreciate the improvements being made to the property each year.

As for the kitchen, it could use a new burners. The current ones are rusty and very slow. Also, the carpets need to be shampooed and the kitchen utensils sorted out and completed wherever necessary.
